Hey everyone. I recently had a nose job and the doctor suggested that I take 2 supplements to help with my post op recovery: Bromelain for swelling and Arnica Montana for bruising. I feel like I've recovered pretty quickly, but what I've been really delighted with is a side effect I hadn't anticipated...improved digestion of meat. I suffer from IBS-C and have found meat to often be a trigger food for a bout of D or a particularly long bout of C. However, I've been taking 500 mg of Bromelain twice a day for the last 3 weeks and have had incredibly improved digestion. So, if you find proteins to be a trigger food like me, it might be worth a try :)
