I have Leslie Sansone one, two, and three mile walk. When I haven't walked for a while or am really tired I just do the one mile. After a few weeks I switch to the two mile. I have never made it to the three mile yet.

I am 46 years old from St. Louis. Moved to FL 20 years ago. I am a medical assistant/basic x-ray tech. I am married 21 years and have one daughter. Have had IBS A for as far back as I could remember. Mainly had IBS C but now it is A as I have aged.
I try to speed-walk daily. Love Leslie Sansone walking away the pounds CD. Easy to do right in the living room. Don't have to worry about the rain or your neighbors stopping you to chit chat. She is the best and any one can do it.

I too am a Minister's wife & Home school Mom to 2 children. (humm....a correlation to IBS...stress and being a Minister's wife...and homeschool Mom??? :) I have suffered from IBS for 20-25 yrs. My life is busy and very stressful, but wouldn't trade it for nothing. We have pastored in Tn, Ohio, Florida and now back in Tn again. I love to walk (tried the jogging thing, too), some weight training. It has been difficult for me to eat very nutritionally b/c of my ibs pain, but I am very health conscience.

I am 44, single, and a "mom" to 2 indoor only cats, Timmy and Kallie
I work in retail.
I am a 2 time breast cancer survivor; I was diagnosed stage 2 in 2003; went through a bilateral mastectomy, chemo and radiation. In April of 2007, I was diagnosed with bone mets. I had radiation to the left hip, where most of the cancer was. I am doing well, have a good prognosis; my mets have been stable for quite some time now. Not on chemo, but I am on a drug called Zometa to build up the bones which I get through an IV once per month, and I also get a Faslodex injection once per month, which is a hormonal treatment for breast cancer.
I have been staying at my goal weight for over a year now; now I am working on feeling more fit. Last month, I started walking and also doing Leslie Sansone's Walk Away The Pounds in home walking workouts.
My name is Shari; I have been a Sparker since July 2006, I am now in hospice care for metastatic breast cancer, but I'm not letting cancer stop me from Sparking!
Promise me you'll always remember: You're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.

I was born in NYC and lived in Manhattan most of my life. I had to move to Queens 3 years ago because I couldn't afford the rent anymore. I have both parents who live in NJ in the summer and Florida in the Winter. A brother 2 years older and a sister 2 years younger. I love all of them with exception to my sister, more than words can say. I went to collage and graduated with honors with a BSN, RN as well as being inducted into the Nurses Honor Society. I have a 14 year old 7 toed black cat named Indigo who I could not live without, and a 4 1/2 foot Ball Python named Togo. My favorite exercise was the elliptical and weight lifting. I do not regret the path my life took because I have learned so many lessons and acquired so much faith, that I became a much better nurse, friend, and person in general. My only sadness, or feeling of emptiness is that I never got to experience motherhood. Favorite hobbies were skydiving, blading, being a personal trainer, and lying on a Caribbean beach.
All my photo's were taken 5 years ago. Thry are now my goals.
We learn from the wiser ones in this program that every person contributes to what each of us must learn. This gives us fresh appreciation of our many relationships. None of them accidental./ All of them aredivine. It may seem too simple that we can change a bad mood or a bad attitude by "getting quiet." But in fact, we can. Clearing our thoughts of anger, resentment, self-pity, and fear gives us the space t
Hey, Toni. This is great. I'll try to keep this short if I can. I'm from Tx originally, been living in NE with my dh for the last 21 years (Ever since we got married). He's from here, and is a Baptist minister. He felt called back here to work in the ministry which we are doing today through a local church.
We have three beautiful biological children (19 yo girl, 16 yo boy, 13 yo girl), all of whom we are proud. We've homeschooled all three for the last few years, and our oldest dd just graduated last May. Our kids regularly witness to folks and really believe in the Lord on their own, it's not just our beliefs. Our son has had two major surgeries on his neck/brain within the last two years for a birth defect. This caused alot of my stress! But he's doing very well today, Praise the Lord! We have a foster son (17) who we will be gaining guardianship of in May. He's been a blessing to our family but it's also been stressful dealing with his situation. We're just glad we can help him.
I'm blessed to have my mother here in NE (She moved up several years ago). We just lost dh's mom last year on Easter Sunday and his step mom just a few weeks ago. So I'm thankful that I have my mom close by.
Some of my favorite exercises are: walking (trying to take up jogging), aeorbics (dvds right now), stretching and toning. I work out at home, and at the Y.
My family motivates me because I want to be here to see my grandchildren someday. Plus, my family and friends comment all the time about how good I'm looking and that really helps. I have so much more energy now than I did, and that is a big motivator as well. It feels good to feel like doing things with the kids.
I'll have to go through my recipes, but this is enough I guess for now, huh?
