I will definitely be reading those articles later. I've had several medical procedures which raise my risk for osteoporosis. So in addition to the walking...I need to be doing strength training as well. My Doc already has me on 50,000 IUs of Vitamin D 3 times a week b/c I have a serious vitamin D deficiency. Obese people tend to have lower Vitamin D levels than the rest of the population. One more reason to eat better & exercise!!!
