I actually did that last night. I had 300 steps short of 10K so I jogged in place in my bedroom before going to bed. Went to bed happy.
I feel like a ditz for not having thought of doing stuff like that! Thanks for the inspiration.
It is fun to do this, especially if I've missed my steps during the day and want to get them before bed. It isn't as good a workout as walking on the street is, but there are many evenings I've walked the 51 steps between the back bedroom and the farthest point in the house. I would be happier walking outside for a short time, but would be hard late in the evening or when it is stormy. I guess we have to do what we need to do.
I do admit to walking in place while brushing teeth, peeling carrots, talking on the phone, even working on the computer. It still isn't as good as taking the poor dog on a walk.

Yes, I do the same it. I'll look at my pedometer and if it's close to the next 100, I'll jog in place or run around the family room. My fiance thinks I'm funny. So I guess I'm part of the Team too!
