Team Announcement: PLAYBLUES22 10/3/10 2:21 PM Step Conversions for your use
If you have a pedometer it is easy to keep track of your steps. If you don't own one, here is a conversion chart to let you know how hard you really workout in a day. Sometimes we don't know how many steps we walk in a day and therefore don't know just how much weight we can loose doing the things we love. So here is a step conversions chart for you.
The activities below are estimates. If you perform activities not listed here, check the list for the activity that most closely matches what you did to estimate your steps.

This is how you calculate Steps per Minute:
For Example: Mowing the lawn
If you mow the lawn for 60 mins. you multiply your steps per minute by 60 (135 X 60 = 8.100 steps)
So for whatever activity you are doing from the above list just mulitply those steps with the amount of time it took you to do that particular activity.
If you are using a machine that calculates in miles the conversion would be approximately 2000 steps for every mile.
