Thanks for the reminder here Kitty. We were eating at the table until we got Rocco and started the dress shop. Now the table is covered in supplies for the shop and Rocco and Buddy fight whenever we sit down together to eat. It is so stressful. I need to get off the computer and start making some changes.

I know it's a bad habit, but I kind of eat where-ever. I really should clean off the table and use it. I know that, I'm just pretty certain I'd be by myself! Maybe a dog under the table but that's about it.

We were eating at the dining table, but now my daughter has her inventory for the shop stacked on it. I have to figure out a better system.

My boyfriend and I eat in front of the TV but as long as we have portion control, we are good. Bringing the bag of goodies to the TV will definitely not end well. emoticon

Be Mindful
The kitchen will work, too. Why? Because experts believe that eating in the kitchen or dining room, rather than the living room in front of the TV or the office in front of the computer, will help you focus on your food -- not what's on the screen. And that's important, say a growing band of researchers. They suspect the real culprit in the growing obesity epidemic may be a bevy of bad behaviors that fall under the category of "mindless eating." It's a distracted kind of eating, where people focus on something other than their plates and, as a result, don't notice when their bellies are getting full.
