Definitely feeling like a Buckeye Beauty today. I won our weekly challenge in my Shape-It-Up Challenge program for the 1st time every! The challenge was a wall sit, longest time won. We backed up against a wall and squatted down, put a medicine ball on our horizontal thighs, and then we sat. Our instructor offered us extra points if we could beat her time of 4:00 minutes. 50 points went to the longest sit. I went 6:35:46!!!!!! I still can hardly believe it. All the contestants were gathered around me, encouraging me, mouths open in amazement. My husband noticed my shoulders were tense and told me to relax which helped. I kept thinking about my 3 natural childbirths and told myself if I got through those, I can get through this. The man who went 6:05, the longest time thus far, ran over to me and told me to beat his record and I did! I am having a great DAY! emoticon

Had my very first Zumba class! Wow! I was amazed at how much I sweat! I'm awkward with the moves, but I'll get better in time. So different from my other exercises! Moving this old body in ways I haven't since I was a teenager! What fun. emoticon emoticon Little black dress, here I come! emoticon

Yesterday I did 2 work out video one dance video for 50 min and Walk Away the Pounds for 45 min. Hopefully I will follow up with a video after school tonight.

Yesterday I didn't do anything - but eat WAY too much pizza :(( blahh - BUT today is a new day!! - Tonight after work I have my boot camp class ( I got 3x a week - Monday, Wednesday and Saturday) - think fast paced circuit exercises that involve weights, cardio and strength training - it's INTENSE! - The class is only for 8 weeks and we're on week 5 today - so I'll have to figure something else out after it's over!

I also go on the elliptical/treadmill for about 20-30 minutes before class for a warm up!!

July 1, 2010 - became a Pescatarian
September 16, 2010 - Quit smoking

Sunday and Monday I didn't do anything - just over ate!

Today that all changes - (maybe I was resting up?)

I have to go shovel snow, then I am teaching 3 classes at the Y.
4:30 pm Exercise Fusion (think Circuit Training meets Boot Camp)
6 pm PiYo (Pilates and Yoga)
7:30 pm Dance Fusion (Latin meets Disco meets Exercise)

The 7:30 pm may not happen if people don't come since we are getting a bunch of snow!

Yesterday I did 30 minutes on the elliptical then did an upper body lifting workout.

Today I'm taking a day off from the gym (my knees did not enjoy 6 days in a row) and will be doing some Wii Fit when I get home from work.

I just started thinking about my weight again and started on the Wi My Fitness Coach a week ago. I really like it! Did 30 minutes each Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Probably 15 tonight, going to work cuts into my time for sure:)

Today I am going to the Y and do my 30 minutes of warm water therapy plus I am signing up for a water aerobics class starting soon. I have never done that before so I am really excited about it

Good Superbowl Sunday afternoon everyone!

Wednesday I taught step class at the Y then I took the last 35 minutes of the spin class since there was a free bike.

Thursday I taught the strength class at the Y and then I took the last 40 minutes of the spin class (I'm so predictable)

Friday was going to be a rest day but I ended up shoveling snow for 45 minutes.

Saturday I was to teach the early cycling class but the Y ended up opening late due to snow so I taught the strength training class then I took the cycling class. I got home and did another 90 minutes of shoveling snow! I was tired after that.

Let's see today my exercise was doing 3.25 hrs. of water jogging and than I taught my water aerobic class for 60 minutes also.
