8/1 -rest day 8/2 4 miles easy run (I actually ended up w/ 4.4 when all was said and done) 8/3 X-training day, I did a sculpting DVD in the morning, and rode my bike the long way back from work. 8/4 5 miles hills. 8/5 X-training bike, 4 miles, yoga 8/6 rest day 8/7 7 mile long run 8/8 rest day 8/9 5 mile easy run 8/10 unexpected rest day (no time for a workout) 8/11 4 mile tempo run, followed by a short yoga stretch 8/12 30 min bike ride, lots of hills, probably about 4 miles. 8/13 2+ hr Mtn bike ride, 11.1 miles total. 8/14 8.1 mile long run 8/15 rest 8/16 4.1 miles easy run 8/17 XT, mountain biking from work and yoga 8/18 5.1 miles hills 8/19 XT mountain biking from work and yoga 8/20 unpacking and some yoga 8/21 9 mile long run up to 10,000 feet (probably a 1400 ft gain) 8/22 rest (and a massage if I can get in) 8/23 4.1 miles easy run, and mountain biking from work (3 miles) 8/24 took a rest day (and had a massage) 8/25 5.1 mile tempo run, and biking from work (3 miles) 8/26 5.6 mile hike (meant to mountain bike, but the flat tire in the morning and forgotten helmet in the afternoon prevented that!) 8/27 mostly a rest day, did some yoga 8/28 10.1 mile run along the river. 8/29 rest 8/30 yoga 8/31 4.2 miles, slowly.

Ok, so I missed my biking goal by 3 miles, but I blew the running goal OUT OF THE WATER! WOOHOO!! This month I fell a bit behind in the ST dept though. After my vacation at the end of July, I just had a very hard time getting back into a routine. Still a great month, though, I would say!

8/1 -rest day 8/2 4 miles easy run (I actually ended up w/ 4.4 when all was said and done) 8/3 X-training day, I did a sculpting DVD in the morning, and rode my bike the long way back from work. 8/4 5 miles hills. 8/5 X-training bike, 4 miles, yoga 8/6 rest day 8/7 7 mile long run 8/8 rest day 8/9 5 mile easy run 8/10 unexpected rest day (no time for a workout) 8/11 4 mile tempo run, followed by a short yoga stretch 8/12 30 min bike ride, lots of hills, probably about 4 miles. 8/13 2+ hr Mtn bike ride, 11.1 miles total. 8/14 8.1 mile long run 8/15 rest 8/16 4.1 miles easy run 8/17 XT, mountain biking from work and yoga 8/18 5.1 miles hills 8/19 XT mountain biking from work and yoga 8/20 unpacking and some yoga 8/21 9 mile long run up to 10,000 feet (probably a 1400 ft gain) 8/22 rest (and a massage if I can get in) 8/23 4.1 miles easy run, and mountain biking from work (3 miles)

8/1 -rest day 8/2 4 miles easy run (I actually ended up w/ 4.4 when all was said and done) 8/3 X-training day, I did a sculpting DVD in the morning, and rode my bike the long way back from work. 8/4 5 miles hills. 8/5 X-training bike, 4 miles, yoga 8/6 rest day 8/7 7 mile long run 8/8 rest day 8/9 5 mile easy run 8/10 unexpected rest day (no time for a workout) 8/11 4 mile tempo run, followed by a short yoga stretch 8/12 30 min bike ride, lots of hills, probably about 4 miles. 8/13 2+ hr Mtn bike ride, 11.1 miles total. 8/14 8.1 mile long run
