I didn't do as good as I wanted for the month of June. I met 70% of my goal by running 70 miles out of the 100 I wanted to run.

I'll shoot for July to meet my 100 mile goal! :^) I still need to work on keeping track of what I eat...but I'll continue to work on it.

Well with the end of June almost here, I thought I should post progress on my goals.

I've been better about water, but not as good as I wanted to be.

I've been pretty good about tracking my food.

I ran the Corp Chall. in 38 min; I hit the 3 mile mark at 33 min. There was a ton of wind & I was a little pokey. I'm proud though!

My JUNE goals are:

1. I want to track food eaten daily (tough one for me!)
2. Have 16 glasses of water daily
3. I want to run 100 miles for the month (I ran 96 last month!).


I think doing goal #1 will be the toughest for me, especially on the weekends. I already do #2 and I almost reached goal #3 last month.
But I'm working on doing this everyday so we'll see how I do this month.

My goals for June:

1. Track food eaten daily
2. Drink 16 glasses of water daily
3. Run 3 miles in 30 min.

The last one is going to be tricky. I figure each week I'll need to step up the number of minutes I'm running at 6.0 MPH on the treadmill.

I'm entered in the Corporate Challenge on 6-24. I haven't raced competitively with my maiden name ... ever! I really want to see MY name in the paper with 30:00:00 next to it!!! It's my main motivation, but I could use some more!

Drink 8 glasses of water
Stay in my Calorie Range
Run 3-4 times a week & ST 1-2 times a week.

Okay, June goals for me are:

1) Train with the "Couch to 5k" program 3 times a week.

2) Log 1500 fitness minutes this month.

3) Do at least an hour of cardio every day.

Checking in once a week.

June 1-7:

1. Workout 6x/wk

It's very hard to understand in the beginning that the whole idea is not to beat the other runners. Eventually you learn that the competition is against the little voice inside you that wants to quit. - anon
