Most of it was gardening/weeding and manually clearing land with some walk aerobics and pilates.

I forgot to post my minutes and exercises on this challenge. I totaled them up from my cardio tracking chart and have a total of 1341 minutes for this month. My cardio is basically walking, hiking, or treadmill. I did not include the minutes for the strength training exercises. If the challenge continues next month I will try to do better. emoticon

Sandy, this was a great challenge. It's one thing to log it in the fitness section but seeing it on the board all at once really kept me motivated.

Instead of you adding up everyone's min, why don't you suggest they total there own and put a grand total in. (see how I totaled mine)

Hey, Sparklers, Sandy want us to EDIT OUR POST every day NOT enter a post every day. Write in the new date and total for the day. Add them up at the end of the week for her to record. You only need one post to do this. I love the chatter and to hear how you are doing, but for Sandy to keep records only one post that is edited daily.

Just go back to your first post and click on edit to enter every day then she can tally it up.

I'm almost up to walking 3 miles daily. It is easy for me when I can listen to a audio book.

I am up for the challenge. Wow this is the third challenge for April that I am participating in. Hopefully this will keep me here but more importantly get me moving and motivated.

April 2 - loaded boxes of books into the van with my husband - about 30 minutes
April 3 - Strength & Stretch - 25 minutes and unloaded the van 45 minutes
April 4 - loaded and unloaded 1 van load of boxes. 1 hour
April 5 - loaded and unloaded 2 full loads and loaded one more load of boxes 2 hours
April 6 - loaded and unloaded 2 full van loads of stuff - about an hour
April 7 - loaded and unloaded 1 van full of boxes - 30 minutes
April 8 - None
April 9 - one van load 43 minutes
April 10 - None

I'm in. I did 43 minutes on the treadmill( 2 1/4 miles with a 5% incline)-went to curves and was there for the 30 minutes-came home and did strength exercises-crunches-lunges-squats- and some exercises with the dumb bells. Plan on doing some exercises with the ball later today. emoticon
Did some more exercises this evening, crunches,abduction exercises

This morning I rode the stationary bike for 30 minutes and did half an hour of exercises for my shoulder.

I'll be part of the April challenge. This morning I'll walk at least 2 miles.

Personal goal is to weigh in 149 by the end of March 2013. I did not make my previous goal so must do better...I ACHIEVED THIS GOAL IN MAY 2013. A LOSS OF 37 POUNDS.
I HAVE ADDED A NEW GOAL OF LOSING ANOTHER 4 POUNDS TO ACHIEVE BY JUNE 30, 2013. 145 BY JUNE 30, 2013 - I'M ON MY WAY...

If you are like me I tend to be on the computer too much & avoid exercise if I can. We genealogist just can't help it. Once we get a lead on an ancester the chase is on. Well, we are here for another purpose & that is to be healthier!

What I would like for us to do is to make an effort to get out there & do the exercise that you enjoy the most.

Here is the plan. Everyone who is up for the challenge replies to this topic. Enter your exercise for the day. I would suggest telling what you did, how far you walked, bike, etc. and for how long. Go back and edit your reply everytime you exercise, so we can see your progress.

The winner with the highest amount of minutes will get a special goodie.
