There are a few other videos out there that help clarify... three of my favorite are What The Bleep Do We Know (which I like to say is the why it works), The Secret (what you can do) and You Can Heal Your Life (which I like to call the How-To movie).
I like being happy with my goals, too. When we choose goals rather than have them imposed, we feel good about them. Situations can alter goals, but that's life. The Bible says that time and chance happen to everyone; Jesus said--recorded in Luke--that bad things can happen to good people, like the tower of Shaloam, or someplace like that, falling down and killing some people.
I realize that losing pounds is not a priority of mine; energy is, with strength to work. The pounds will regulate themselves as I work on my main goals--with a bit of dutiful "No!" to the regular distractions from my better foods.
I agree! Big tease, little info. I still have trouble with the Law of Attraction (LOA) because I think stuff just happens. Look at Japan...who attracted that?
However, I like the message to "feel good now". I've been working on tapping into feeling good about my goal of being slim, fit, healthy & sexy. According to LOA, if I feel the gratitude, excitement & joy of being slim, it will show up. I can believe that if I feel good about my goal, I will take the steps necessary to get there. I won't stand in my own way. I'll have the confidence that it's doable.
Living the life of the fit & healthy person I want to become.
I haven't seen "the secret" but have read some of "think and grow rich" -- many of the same principals, AND I have written something in a journal and in about two years, made it happen. The missing link for some people, is that all the set up is to encourage action. I've met people who just do the wishing part . . . the imagery is to help you clarify the focus for the action.

New Year's Day 2012 "Do I look disgusting? - Hubby's answer: You look like you'be been exercising. There's nothing disgusting about exercising."
I watched this via netflix. yeah - what a tease. it told you what it could do, blah blah blah, but it didn't give you the next step,. it didn't tell you HOW to make that journey. what a bunch of teases, lols.
