In listening to the Tapping World Summit, one of the speakers did a session on "Choice" tapping. It was discussed how sometimes affirmations feel false, like "I am healthy and strong" when we KNOW we are NOT. Rather than fight internally, the presenter suggested we use the phrase "I CHOOSE to be healthy and strong" because that IS true. We CAN choose to be healthy and strong from this moment forward and those choices will bring about the future we want. AND any internal fighting over the "truth" of an affirmation dissolves. TRY IT. It works wonders.

I CHOOSE to be kind and loving.
I CHOOSE to exercise daily.
I CHOOSE to eat healthy.
I CHOOSE to forgive.
etc.

I'm new to this; so I haven't made any personal affirmations yet. The ones listed below sound good for me (especially the growing up and creating my own life parts)! I think I'll yoink them and use them for a while!
