Congrats on meeting halfway! I have the same problem with my guy (junk food fanatic, can eat anything) and I finally turned to him the other day and said please stop tempting me so! lol he made a pouty face but then agreed to try and eat healthier for me. They can be so sweet sometimes! Anywho, I just graduated from culinary school myself and am glad for the experience for this weight loss adventure. Isn't it nice, having all of this knowledge to make amazingly healthy meals?

Thanks for the advise my bf and I talked and I told him that he could not bring any junk food into my house and he said fine and suggested a "treat meal" for the weekend... so one night we had pizza and garlic fingers for supper and the left overs were frozen for my lunches at school if I'm in a rush. We also talked about getting a second controller for my Wii so we could compete against each other in Wii sports and Wii fit. Other then that as I attend culinary school I cooked all of our meals and made sure they were healthy!

Good luck Alyssa-Macc! If he argues with you about the junk food then tell him this is what you need for him to support you. While he's visiting maybe you could cook some of the healthy spark recipes & that way you don't get thrown off track. It could be a fun bonding activity if you cook together. I think that's what I'm going to do the next time my guy visits me.

My boyfriend has manged to loss 6 lbs in two weeks I am so jealous, I know that we are on this getting healthy kick together and I am happy for him, but I wish I could take off the weigh like he dose. I know its because he goes to the gym (which I can not afford a membership and he has a personal trainer). And making matters worse he can eat anything he wants, when he wants and he knows that he can just burn it off at the gym.
Mean while I am here struggling to lose and shape up with him coming down here this weekend I am a little worried as he is a junk food fanatic, pop chips, popcorn (with extra butter) and I know that I chose what I put in my mouth... but I did tell him that he is not allowed to bring fast food junk into the house as that is one of my major weakness and I can't be around it. So we will have to see how it goes.
