I'm incorporating Cathe in my current workout (posted under Daily Discussion Thread)

I'm actually accomplishing more than one CATHE a week. emoticon
But, am really enjoying adding some of my other (many, many) workouts throughout.

~2 upper body/wk~ 45-60 w/ abs - 10
Mon - variety from both Cathe and others (from my workout stash closet)
I do Pyramid Upper Body every Friday - it hits things that none of the others do

~2 lower body/wk~ 45-60 w/ abs - 10
Wed - P57 expresses / boosters - 30 minutes
Sab - Leg Conditioning - 60; from Cathe, P57, Ballet Conditioning

~3 cardio/wk~
Variety - 30min each

I admire those of you who can workout without music.
I simply CAN NOT.
Boring....

I think it would be different in a gym with other people, but even then - I like my tunes emoticon keep me motivated ~

Speaking of motivation - I have to get my butt out into this beautiful weather.
I switched my days off - Tues/Wed/Sab.
It's working out just FANTASTIC.....
Today is cooler 65' w/ sunshine, big puffy white clouds, and blue skies.

Going to be a wonderful day for gardening - then back inside to iron work clothes.

Oh, that is something to mention - the quality of the filming of these is no where near Cathe level (we are so spoiled) but to be honest, you are looking down at the floor and/or suffering so much doing these workouts that the music and the filming quality are quickly forgotten. At least that is what I found. I bought volumes 1-4 and bootcamp. You might want to check out the thread in the Open discussion on Cathe's forums for discussions about HC - just to get some more insight. There are some women on there that are much more knowledgeable about the workouts than me.

Oh and there are links to see clips of the videos. I'll see if I can find the link for you.

I go to a gym for a HIIT workout 4-5 times a week. It is a bit like crossfit - sometimes what we'll do are 2 exercises - for 3 sets, than we get a 3 minute break. For example - wall ball squats (or as Cross Fit folks call 'em, wall balls) you throw a med ball up above a line at 10 ft, catch it go down to a squat, throw it again - I am throwing a 15 lb ball, sometimes we do 3 sets of 15, other times 5 sets of 20. Or 10 push-ups with feet in a trx and knee tucks in between, followed by 100 mtn climbers using sliders for 3 sets. Things like that. It is a great workout, lot of fun, tons of variety, and man do I burn calories.

I am also doing horizontal conditioning - man are these good workouts for me. I am always working on improving my push-ups and these workouts work really well on improving my upper body strength and my abs. emoticon www.horizontalconditioning.com/index2.php

Yup! I just did low impact tabata from CrossFire this morning. I love doing a quick tabata on mornings I don't have a lot of time. Great way to start the day.

I am really looking forward to Cathe's new workouts with more 10 minute workouts!!
