I am doing pretty good with eating right, but can't get motivated with exercise. I didn't lose anything. Will do better in June with both eating right and exercising. I will, I will emoticon emoticon emoticon

June is almost over. I'm proud to say i've done really well with cutting dairy nearly out of my diet. with an occasional slip - that i pay for nearly immediately.. i've been doing better with staying away from it. Also, i've been much better about my water intake as well. .. how did y'all do?

I did really good today EXCEPT I ate two very fattening pieces of pizza. Really blew the calories today. No excuse..............

Oh sweetie stop beating yourself up and look at all that you have going on in your life. You have more to worry about than giving into fritos. Long days at work and a teen daughter that is hard enough to handle without the autism.

If it were up to me I would give you an hour a day to relax with no work, no problems, and no stress. I don't know how to give that but here is my advice.

Sit quietly for 2 minutes per day and repeat this mantra "this too shall pass."

Remember you are beautiful. I looked at my ATC's and remember that you are also talented. HUGS

vacation is actually the end of july. not june. i just got back from the june one. always reread hysterics make sure they make sense!

i am motivated like mad but outta control. i always sore that when my kids left home i'd lose all this weight right? okay well one left and i lost half the weight :P i still have one here and the one that is left is my daughter, who is autism spectrum and a teenager. she's not a 'bad girl' but like every growing pain or speed bump u could have as a teen...she does have. like getting arrested for shop lifting, doing bad things in public places and getting caught, unprotected u know what, sneaking out windows at night, people sneaking in windows at night. its like a constant war. but since this course of behavior has hit this fever pitch i've been unable to keep to a diet. i feel like i can barely hold on to my calm. ive managed to stay below 200 and i keep my healthy meals but i keep succumbing to gummy worms and frito snacks. i have no will power for them. yesterday i had a 13 hr day at work and i succumbed at hour 11 to fritos that had been staring at me the whole time. i work at family dollar right? home of the freaking fat snacks. ive got another vacation coming up in june. i'd like to get a grip on this and maybe roll a few pounds off before i go down there. im coming down from almost 300 lbs at my worst. im sitting just below 200. i LOVE eating out. my bf is almost 400 lbs and LOVES eating out. we are insane for indian and japanese food. he sits behind me at his computer desk eating mike and ikes...hello? :P i am here. im supposed to be on a diet. i can taste those from here. ive held at this just below 200 place for almost 2 yrs now. i thought it was a permanent change. but...lately. the stress. the food. the vacations its all getting too much. i dont wanna see myself come up over 200 again. i need to get a grip. any and all help, advice, recipes, meal plans, strategies for emergency appetite control would be useful. something i can comfort into when im exhausted and dont even know if my soul is attached to my body any more. :P i put progresso light veggie, two hard boiled eggs, fruit and popcorn in my lunch box....but 13 hrs is a long time to walk around in circles staring at fritos and gummies....god help me if i have to stock them or actually touch them coming thru the line. i dont eat meat except for occassional fish. egg, milk and yogurt are most of my protein. hey...one good thing though. my artistic life is great :P its just all the rest of my life.

I am so motivated I have to force myself to eat 1200 calories. If I eat less I'll go into starvation mode and won't lose but if I stay right around 1200-1300 I do well. So far I'm on day 4 and doing well.

Well day one and I did great on my exercising but over on calories by 100. too much sweet and sour sauce on my chicken. But today is a new day!

My goal is to get in a minimum of 64 oz a day but 100oz water is my goal
Also, no dairy.

Let's help each other be accountable.
Step 1: Post your goal for eating here. It can be anything; calorie count; how many fruits or veggies consumed each day; etc.

Then post your results. I will kick it off: My goal for June is to stay under 1550 calories each day.
