RHONDA, If I understand you correctly, what you (and I too, actually lol) are calling a menu is referred to on SP as a meal plan, the preset meals. There is a tab at the top where you can turn it off if you wish, and customize everything... or you can use it all or just part of it.
As to changing the number or size of serving on an item... I haven't used the presets since the beginning, but on the customized stuff, I click on the name of the item I want to change, and it comes up with options... a drop down menu for different sizes, a box to put in the amount, and a save button.
Also, there is a tutorial video available... at the top of the nutrition page, in the center under the advertisements, is a tab that says 'How do I use this page?' Click on that, and the video shows you where all the commands are etc.
Have any of us answered you question? We want to make sure this is something that gets easier for you...It's like learning anything new, it is kind of a trial and error, at first, but I have confidence that you can get this.
Keep asking questions, and we'll keep trying to help you find the answers... and maybe you'll answer a few for us too! lol

When I first joined I used the suggested meals, but ended up substituting so many things I decided to do the manual one. I have all my favorites saved, calculate my own recipes etc. It took time to get it all organized and counted, but now it's pretty simple.

truned mine off i find myself eating very little protein and my diet is mostly vegetarian however that works for me and doesn't for everyone and you have to really have some control over your daily intake and it doesn't come easy just play with it or i do my thing in quicktrack where i keep track of veggie and fruit severings and water i use that becasue that's what works for me the lady mary

Ok, if it says to drink a shake, and you do it, I think the total is in there. look at the list of calories and it should have the right amount of calories right beside the shake, also protein and carbs, I think. If you ate it you shouldn't need to check it off.... I think.
try clicking on the one bread in the menu where you want to add another. *I think you'll be able to edit and change the quantity to 2.
If it says one 1tsp the 1 tsp is the measurement, and the first *1* is the quantity of 1 tsp measurements.

Heck do I even remeber what I wanted now, hmmm okay so I am using the "drop down menu" and it looks like hardly anyone else does. I think I do need bossed around cause apparently in 10 years I could do it myself .grin.. well one thing was the olive oil. It said olive oil 1 1 tsp. I didnt know how much that was. Then it has me a glucerna shake for a snack everyday and I couldnt tell if it was in my daily totals since I couldnt see where to check it off. Then there were 2 more things and I cannot remember what they were. I wish when I do this reply I could still see all your answers to me, one had my page exactly now I dont know who-Thank you. Thanks everyone for helping me, I am just kinda lame with this site still. Oh, today I made a mistake and ate 2 bread at lunch instead of one and I cant tell how to add another one?
Since no one can recreate your screen. I will say that I have a suggested menu plan to follow as well. I don't follow their menu though. I am somewhat of a picky eater. So I just enter all my food I eat under add a food.
If you dont want to see what they have planned for you you have that ability to remove it.
Please don't get upset. Several people have tried to offer help and suggestions. I am sorry they haven't worked out. If all else fails don't be afraid to try and entering few items, removing etc. Go ahead and check out different "buttons", see what they do.
I don't use the menu feature because I find I don't like a lot of foods the preset menus suggest, e.g. I don't much care for fish, won't eat yogurt and so on. So, I go ahead and track the foods I actually eat and let the program calculate all the information regarding calories, fat grams, carbs, fiber etc. I actually try to plan my food a day ahead, that way I know what (and how much) to eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack.

I have asked a few on here about the menu, no one ever knows what I am talking about. Am I the only one using a menu or is it not called a menu? I will explain here what it looks like. I log on and click nutrition tab. up pops a list with 5 titles, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, snack & snack 2. Under each of these headings is a list of a complete meals. My nutrition page has each meal made up for me everyday with 2 snacks also made for me. Where I come from a list of meals to eat is called a "menu". Could someone help as I have asked questions concerning my menu for 3 days and no one can answer?
