Also, on the Walking Walking Walking Team under Other Goals, you can enter 2 times per day if you sign up for theit team goals on the team page, once you have entered your numbers for that week, you can click on report (under other goals next to each line) and get a report showing the weeks average for each...

THREEE, when you hover your mouse over the chart it shows you the number, but when you export the data it actually puts the numbers into the csv file.

CHAS1949, the start page where you add the custom tracking for blood sugar (it's on the Weigh In and Other Measurements link) does let you choose multiple tracking times for each day. Just click on "Track" again to add more readings. I have tracked up to seven times in one day with no problems.

The Walking, Walking, Walking team has a place to put two readings a day...fasting and one more. It's in the goals sections so you can track it on "other goals"

The exported file does take all the readings but I just delete the ones I don't want :) I even started making a chart using the graph wizard in Excel to show the comparison of how many carbs I had per meal to my blood sugar before the meal. I plan to do some after meal readings and compare those too. I have been using insulin for about a year now so I have to check my blood sugars at least 4 times a day. I used to know when it was low, but lately I have lows that give no warning until a big white blank spot appears in my vision and it's REALLY low. That is scary!

You can go to lifescan.com/products/otdms/software and download free software that will monitor your glucose every day and every time you check your glucose and you can print it and take it to your Dr.

Thanks so much. I had planned to print it out at home and take it with me but couldn't get it figured out. I'll try the export method. I use the One
Touch meter and it stores the numbers so I wrote them on a calendar page and that worked. My doctor said I was amazing and awesome. emoticon

I think you are talking about a SPARK report, right? I tried it back in the spring and couldn't get one just for glucose readings. Like the prior poster, my glucose meter does create a report once hooked up in the doctor's office.
Nice going on the reduced a1c. You are doing very well!

When you are on the Start page here on SparkPeople, you can choose to input your blood sugar each day - either one or multiple times per day(click on Weigh-In and Other). Then you can click Add/Change What you measure. I made Blood Sugar one of the things I measure. Then click on Reports above the Custom report and select the date range you want to see. You can do a week, a day, a month, whatever range you'd like. It brings up the graph when you click run report, but under that you will see a link that says Export Data to File. I always export in CSV format which opens into Excel. That is a list of the date and the Blood Sugar results that I then save into Excel worksheet format and name it something like Terri_blood_sugar-dates.

Hope that helps!

I think it depends on your machine. I have a Life Scan One-Touch and it connects to my computer, I download the information and print it out when I need it.

I don't quite understand how you were going to print it out at the doctor's office unless they can connect to your machine.

I had a Dr. appointment this morning and thought I could just print out a report of my fasting blood sugar numbers. I couldn't. Is there a way and I just haven't figured it out? I found the graph but what I needed was just the numbers to give my doctor not that whole report with all the charts. Thanks everyone for all your help! Sparkpeople is amazing! I've lost 24 pounds this summer. My a1c was 7.1 and today it was 6.6!!! emoticon emoticon
