Elizabeth, Your hand to hand squats look like a good exercise. That is part of what I like about KB, easy to mix things up and do fun things with it (would be harder to hand off the dumbbell in squats).
I am one of the older people also. Your workout looks pretty good to me (as a beginner). Took me 1 hour to do 280 swings and you do yours (200 swings & snatches plus more) in 30 minutes. I tried to work out faster yesterday, pulling the KB down into the swing which helped. But I let my HR drop back to about 100 between swing sets - because I am in my early 50s and significantly overweight I don't want to hit my max vo2 until I lose some weight). So what you are doing may feel like less than some others to you, but I (and I am sure some other beginners) are striving to get to your level. Give me a month or two & I will get there.
Doing traditional kettlebell exercises, RKC style. Check out The Kettlebell Challenge sparkteam for more info - it welcomes everyone, from beginner to KB certified.
KETTLEBELLS PREPARE YOU FOR A HOST OF THINGS, BUT NOTHING PREPARES YOU FOR KETTLEBELLS.
I don't rest much, the jump rope, or mini-tramp are "rests". I don't think I work as hard as I do in a group, or with a trainer, neither of which I have regular access to, so I try not to rest much, an occasional couple of breaths. If I do timed sets, I will do timed rests, but I haven't lately. I know I do lower weights than many of you, I've had rotator cuff injuries, I'm only 5ft2in, and I'm a lot older than most of you, don't tell anyone.
Hi Jane, I don't know names for a lot of what I do, I pick up excersizes when I work out at Punch Gym, Anthony DiLuglio's home gym, when I'm visiting home a few times a year, E.Providence, so I'm improvising on some names. Feet open, more than hip width, toes a little out, kettlebell in hand, drop the bell almost to the floor, pick up to other hand, so you keep switching hands at the top, not quite straightening out the legs. If anyone knows the names, please let me know

It's a large "hula" hoop, really fun for aerobics, I use this, a mini tramp, a jump rope, and ropes gone wild, for active rest and aerobics. I get bored easy, I guess. Theres some great jump rope routines on itunes
That's awesome! Sometimes I hoop to warm up but right now its in the garage and I need to get it. I started making hoops last year and my girls love them. Wish more people knew about hooping out here!!
Strength does not come from pysical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.
