Tried the VO2 workout today. I liked it. I used my 16kg and had 6 reps per 15 seconds. I thought it was a good workout for 20 minutes. Started feeling my form get lazy around halfway so I had to focus on tightening up my core.

Well, thanks for the vote of confidence. I am currently trying to get my law license, so I have other priorities right now. I would like to do the cert at some point just to do it. There is also a certification in California for bodyweight training that I would like to get too. Gotta get the money making license out of the way so I have playing around money, haha.

Nick,
Looks like I good workout. Great job on increasing your counts. OK, now I don't understand why you don't get serious and do the HKC cert, you could do it if you wanted to. But maybe other priorities right now.

didn't get my KB workout in yesterday so did it first thing this morning.

Total reps

10 burpees
130 2 handed swings with a 20kg KB
86 snatches
10 TGU's

10 burpees for warm up

I did a tabata with my 2 handed swings
20 seconds work/10 seconds rest for 8 rounds. My reps per round were as follows:

14
13
14
14
13
13
13
14

I had 22 left over for my daily total so after a bit of active recovery I cranked those out as one set.

Snatches: I used my 16kg bell for the snatches

I decided to figure out my snatch cadence for the VO2 protocol. I ended up figuring it out to be 6 reps per 15 seconds. I am going to give it a try tomorrow.

I ended with 5 reps each side of TGU's.

Not sure of the total time this time but I would guess about 20-25 minutes total.

Great I will keep an eye out. I was just too lazy to go check the other challenge thread you started and compare them to see if your count had gone up.

I understand about being busy, but loving KB is why I keep getting back to it after getting yanked around by life.

I am, just really busy. Also, I was only doing it a few times a week so I don't overtrain/burnout. I am supposed to do it sometime today. I can't get it in this morning so maybe this evening.

Nick,
Are you still doing your incremental challenge. I increased by 60 today. I forgot my max and thought I was just going up a little - lol. Feels good to increase numbers.

I did want to clarify that the 15 minutes did not include the warm up. I don't time that part and just go at a good pace.

I try to keep my weekday workouts short and intense, usually 20 minutes or less. I hit my kettlebell and bodyweight workouts two to three times a week and M,W,F I usually do a distance run.
