Hey guys, looks awesome! I am loving the goals! MAY IS IT!

Liz, I didn't realize you and I were so close in weight. That is cool. Let's get there together! You should activate your weight tracker--if you want that is.

GO FOR IT!!!

I need to try my VO.... thing tonight!

Some great goals people--really upping the anti!

Let's see.
-food is going well, but want to have a soaking routine down for nuts and lentils, so they're more convenient to eat and cook.
-keep dropping body fat % (maybe 13 or14%)
-keep working on SSST
-learn more about HRMs and applying it
-maybe start running to help with HRM knowledge
-don't overtrain. It's a big one, but now I'm seeing more results taking it easy, it's helping
-keep meat intake at once a week, max. Nice being semi-veggie again. Much more genki and getting stronger. Love the idea that I'm being made out of whole foods rather than dead things.
-stay organized with school, so it doesn't interfere with other activities
-keep rockin with Aikido. Lovin' it, especially now that the weather is getting warmer--lovin' the sweat.!

Good luck and can't wait to see posts at the end of the month!!!! Gambate emoticon emoticon

I love the goals I read so far! Well, here's mine:
*Eat cleaner by incorporating more fruits and veggies & lean meats, including no skin on my chicken (one of my weaknesses)
*Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day
*Do cardio 4-5 times a week
*Do strength workouts at least 3 times per week, including KB
*Keep doing my daily walks for at least 20-30 minutes

With each other's support, we can do it! emoticon

Great goals, Pami - and don't worry, that pic is a book cover - I can't do lotus either. Too hard on my knees! :) Be careful not to go too far under on calories - that can ultimately hinder weight loss.

Let's make May our month!

OK, Sidney, you are setting the bar high for May and are motivating me to do the same.

Here are my goals:
*139 by the end of the month (today I am at 143).
*KB workouts three days a week.
*FIRM or other cardio 3 days per week.
*Yoga three days per week, incl. one yoga-only rest day per week. (this one is hard for me as I tend to overtrain - but I realize that gets me exhuasted and prone to overeating)
*clean eating 6 days a week - one cheat day per week.

I have not tried to have a specified cheat day before but my binges have been so off the charts (and going on for days) that I'm going to see if this helps.

Whoo-hoo! Here we go!!

Well, we are 2 days into May so I thought we should all kick it off properly and share our goals for the month.

My May Goals:
* Stay positive and maintain my energy
* Listen to my body and don't over train and avoid injuries at all cost
* Get 7-8 hours of sleep every night!!!
* Do my KB exercises 4 times a week and get my HRM trophy every week
* Stay in my calorie range
* Keep my school work organized to avoid stress and late nights
* Make effective use of my free time

MAY is MY MONTH!!! I plan to kickstart my plan into high gear. I have now had 2 months on Sparks to get my feet wet, start eating well and break into an exercise routine, now it is time to LIVE IT EVERY DAY! Time for a full lifestyle change! I will see myself at 135lbs -- fit and fabulous by the end of the month.

That is VOW to myself and you!

Sidney!
