Great Job Lilz

emoticon I think you did a remarkable job with your goals this month.

Way to go on planning to see a PT for your KBs. I think it'll be a real bonus no matter what! I like the way you've found a way to put KBs into your workouts. Very nice job!!!

About the eating, my first couple of years of fasting and wanting to eat clean, whole foods was very similar to this. I'd have intense cravings, but now they've all but gone a way. Have patience. I'm in the middle of writing a blog about my own experience with this, as I find it very interesting. All in all, I think you've done a remarkable job and that May will be you month yet again!!!

So great to have you with us, and great going!!! emoticon emoticon

Here we are at the end of April and I thought I'd check back in with my goals. I have had mixed results -

checked: One of my goals was to figure out how to incorporate KB into the rest of my fitness activities. I am using my KB 2+ times per week. I've created a rotation plan for May that has me doing traditional cardio every other day, then KB or a FIRM cardio and wt training video on the days in between. I am totally in love with my Kettlebell and am working on scheduling a session with a trainer - may even get to do this next week. I'm psyched!

not-checked - I have been under 140 for some of this month but am back up over again by a few pounds. I really need to get my eating under control. I know it is subject to my emotions (and my hormones!) so will keep working on it in May. I swing widely between "clean" and "VERY unclean" eating!

I hope you all have done well with your April goals - I'm looking forward to May!!

Namaste,
Liz

Hey all, Hope everyone is doing well with their goals. I know Lisa just hit one of her mini goals emoticon emoticon And I also know others are getting more Kb workouts in and starting to see some fantastic results already emoticon Keep up the great work.

Just thought I'd post that I got mine down, now. Put the twins (my two 12kgs) aside, and let loose on my baby (my 20kg) for all exercises. Used it all week thus far, and feel great. Big red is looking at me in the corner, but she'll have to wait until I reach my next goal: full press ladder 5x5 with the 20kg, and 200 snatches minimum. No rush on this one; will have to think of next short term goal. Just thought I'd share. emoticon have a great day, all emoticon

Great idea to put them somewhere you can see everyday. I should do that too! Maybe the fridge.

My April Goals are:
1. get back on track with healthy eating (have been in holiday mode).
2. get to know my KB and figure out how to integrate it with the rest of my exercise.
3. get back under 140 by the end of the month.

I love that reminder icon! emoticon Gotta post these goals somewhere that I'll see them everyday....

Hi everyone,

This thread is for our own accountability and commitment to ourselves. It doesn't just have to be about KBs; whatever you feel you need to help you reach your ultimate goal of fitness and well being. Be sure to let everyone know how you goal went at the end of the month so we can all say 'Great Job!' or give a dose of Tuff Love and stay true to your course. Best, D

My entry for April is to get back up to my 20kg bell for regular workouts. I pushed myself too hard a couple of months ago, and have been recovering slowly. Getting back to my baby will be a sure sign of healing and moving forward. Till then, I'll stick to refining my technique with my 12kg (can't get a 16 where I live), and knowing that the time spent will only improve my power down the line.
