Looks like everyone has something going on this spring. Two weeks ago I had my front yard landscaped.I purchased a home last June and all it had in front of the house were shrubs and some were humongous.I had them all pulled out and had a simple landscape design put in with flowering shrubs and not those ugly all year round green ones.Turned out very nice and am so pleased with how it looks.I can now see my house..Such a nice clean look. emoticon

I always have several projects going on around the house all year long. To name a few:
1) Build and finish the basement which we intend to use in case of a major hurricane this season - this I am building with additional help. Since it is made out of concrete, it serves as a much needed exercise routine.
2) I have two wood/iron benches to rebuild and paint - these are patio benches that are always under the sun, rain and dew, so they have taken a rough beat from Mother Nature.
3) And I always have grass and weeds to cut since we live in a tropical island, this is a year-long chore.

This is a great post. I will have to think about what new projects I will attempt this year. So far all I have done is clean out the flowerbeds of weeds and dead leaves. Several of my perennials are already blooming - bleeding heart, primrose, pinks, etc.

emoticon FOREVERSMILING1!!!

My "Spring cleaning" in the house seems to be never finished!! I'm going thru all my closets and cleaning out the clothes I no longer wear. Have 2 bags full to take to my mom's, in case she wants any, or give to "Goodwill".

I planted my Easter lily plants out in my garden. My DH has cleaned and re-painted the awnings we have on our house.

Let's hope to hear from other members on their plans for Spring!!! Such aemoticon post to get started!!!

Since spring has arrived there are alot of things to do around the house from cleaning up the yard, taking down all the curtains and washing them up,hosing off the house and windows from all the dirt it had collected over the winter or maybe something as simple as getting the yard furniture out.Is anyone planning on doing something big and exciting to their home or yard this spring? Maybe someone has an idea they are planning on doing that inspires someone else here.Would love to hear all your plans or thoughts on this..Thanks.... emoticon emoticon
