Candy, I think that scrapbooking to unwind after those kinds of groups is an excellent idea. I've been to a few groups where I definitely needed a release afterwards but never thought to scrap. Great idea!

How is everyone else doing on the July Challenge? I've accomplished the exercise goals, and on most days drank all the water I should. However, I've only scrapped 2 pages so far this month. I'm hoping to get in the last two in the next couple of days. I hope everyone has had an enjoyable and healthy July. I'll post another challenge for August, so be looking for that.

Thank you Heidi, I have so much free time being disabled and still going to groups at the mental health center. I come home and craft to unwind from the stress of groups.

Way to go Candy! Obviously this new lifestyle is looking good on you. Keep it up!

I went to a Scrap Mania at Archivers on Saturday with a friend, and got 2 pages done. I'm half way there. I had this crazy thought of making a mini-album for my brother and his wife since their one year anniversary is coming up. I'm not sure if this will actually happen or not, but I'm still seriously thinking about it.

Hope everything goes well with your daughter, Shelly. And yes, some exercise is better than none. :)

My running buddy and I decided to do a 10K, and so we signed up for it yesterday. In preparation for this race we ran 4 miles. Holy Cow! That was tough, but we did it. I now feel better about running the 10K on July 24th.

Good Morning All.

Hope everyone has a great day. Today will be one of those days that I have to take one moment at a time. My daughter goes to court today and being an emotional eater, I will be knitting, scrapping and doing other things to try and keep the food out of my mouth to pass the time.

Can;t get to the weight bench, but will do the exercise of the day. Some is better than none.

Drink, Drink, Drink! Ladies I mean water:)

Hahaha....Shelly, I completely agree. Hope you have a fantastic Monday. Good luck on finding the weight bench. :)

I ran my 4th 5K on Saturday in 40:12. I was a little disappointed that I didn't finish it in under 40 minutes but there was a monster of a hill at the end so I feel pretty good about that time. My mom and dad also ran it and finished in 43 and 45 minutes. I'm so proud of them. Anyway, besides that my holiday weekend was one I didn't count calories because of the holiday so I'm back to counting today.

Hope everyone has a great Monday and gets the exercise and water in.

I put this in "my status" but thought I would put it here.

We should be able to count skim milk towards our water input for the day because it is thin enough and it is like drinking water:) Everybody have a great Monday. I am going to try and find my way through the remodeling to the weight bench.

I am in. All of this is a challenge for me. Probably the biggest is the water. I know I need it. Thanks Heidi for being such an inspiration. It is spark friends like you who help some of us keep going.

Hello everyone! I decided that I'm going to post a team challenge for the month of July. I'm sure we all have a busy summer planned, but let's try and stay motivated to work-out and get some scrapbooking done.

Here is what I propose:
* Complete at least 4 pages in the month of July.
* Exercise for at least 1 1/2 hours a week. (This is basically 30 minutes for 3 days each week.)
* Remember to drink 8-10 glasses of water a day.

So who would like to join me in this challenge? The one that is going to be most challenging for me is actually the scrapbooking one. I would like to focus on doing a page a week, so this a great challenge for me.

I hope everyone would like to join me, and that you all are doing well.
