YEAR 2010 – The FALL OFF & DROP Challenge: DROP those pounds OFF NOW!
Here we are about to start a new challenge just a couple of weeks after the official start of Fall.
I do not know if you are experiencing what I am but as the weather is getting colder, the appetite is increasing. YIKES! Is that nature’s way of telling me that I need extra insulation for winter? The heck with that! And before you know it we will have holiday temptations to deal with too!
Did you all know that stats show that most people tend to put on apx 9 lbs between now & New Year? Scary huh?
Wouldn’t it be nice to face January without having those extra lbs to deal with and be one big step ahead of the January madness!
So I hope you will make the commitment to FALL OFF & DROP those pounds NOW!
Everyone on maintenance is welcome & encouraged to keep track with us! We all know how easy it can be to lose track of we are not accountable.
The challenge will run for 8 weeks and the first official weigh in day is Friday October 8 and the last will be Friday November 26. As soon as you see this, post your goals for the 8 week challenge and return to weigh in on Friday. For returning members use your weight of the last weigh in as a starting point and post the difference when you weigh in on Friday. For new member just joining this challenge set your goals based on your last weigh in and go from there.
As usual I ask that you be committed to sticking with the challenge, post your goals weekly and be there for the final weighing in. If for any reason you cannot post on that specific day post it before or after and let the team know if you will be away for any time during the challenge.
Goals are to be set in lbs only or in inches, your choice. Remember to set realistic goals for the 8 week period. To keep it fair I would ask that goals not be changed during the challenge.
The style format will be the same as the example below. Keep copying and pasting from week to week and add your new stats every Friday! Please do not deviate from this format. It sure makes my job easier to keep track of from week to week.
Select an emoticon, if you like and post one for every full pound lost or for every .5" lost.
Everyone achieving their goal will be rewarded with a goodie from me.
