Yay, I maintained on vacation! I can't believe it; it was all inclusive, including alcohol. I guess my plan of leaving something on my plate at each meal (or giving it away to the family) and asking that things like bacon be substituted with an extra serving of fruit WORKED.

I know it is a silly question but I guess I don't credit for losing my goal weight because during the period I gained weight and all I did was lose that weight back. I still have to watch my nutrition...still sticking with comfort foods a bit too much. I've been low this past few weeks, and so......lots of comfort foods.

Sorry everyone... Been on a Jamaican SCUBA Vacation then got very ill so I haven't been able to post. At least lost a lot of weight while sick and very impressed that I maintained my weight on vacation despite it being an all you can eat & drink all inclusive.

But I know it doesn't count to gain weight then lose it and say i met my goal. My goal was to get to 265. May not happen, but I'm going to keep rockin on my streak. I was sick yesterday because I didn't take one of my bp meds, so i was really, really dizzy. So I didn't work out. Today....I'll be able to pick up with at least a mild work out and then tomorrow the gloves come off. I'm STILL having trouble with my nutrition. Its like I don't care. Ugh.

I don't get it. I worked out every day when I was in Dallas, and I only ate dinner one nite....feeling satisfied after lunch each day. I did eat a larger breakfast than normal, and a larger lunch than normal, but not larger by a ton. And then I worked out every night (although I missed last night). I'm just going to cry. This is really shaking my confidence that I can ever lose the weight. I think the medications for bi polar and depression are just wreaking havoc on my ability to lose. I hate to say it.....but why bother!!!!! fpm

I'm having a good week although I think I overdid it with the physical activity. I did my Couch to 5K training early in the week (Sun-Tues) then went on a 3 hour hike with my neighbor. Now my back is aching! So no exercise for me today! If it's not better on it's own by Monday maybe a trip to the chiropractor is in order...

I keep reaching for comfort foods. I've been so depressed lately. i've even had "bad thoughts" about ending it. Oddly, i am keeping up with my streak of exercise, although yesterday was tough. I go to Dallas next week for a presentation and I'm really anxious about that.....which is is also unusual since I don't usually get anxious about it. I need tips on how to stay away from comfort foods. I don't have any in the house, but I will get them from the candy machine or from the gas station on the way to work or way home. It is the part of the equation I am really missing out on. Help me team!!
