I lost another 1.4 lbs. this week! I'm down 18.4 lbs. for this challenge!! I must've miscalculated when I thought I'd lose 30, but I should make 20 and I'm happy with that!!!

Evening! My hubby and I went to the beach for the weekend and someone has my tape measure, so I haven't officially weighed in. I did weigh Saturday before we left and I had lost another pound making it 4 for these two weeks!! But I'll try to retrieve my tape measure and give an official weigh-in by Tuesday.

Come on Ladies!! We can do this!!!

I would like to join this! I'll just be MIA for the last couple weeks of the challenge...HONEYMOON!!!

I'm kinda bummed right now, I haven't been able to workout all that much this week...I have a bad cold! So no gym and hard core workouts like I had planned. I weighed in yesturday and it said I lost just over a pound, So I'm very hopeful that the lose sticks around to my official weigh in date on Sunday!

Ladies,

Don't give up on yourself. Don't get discouraged! We can do this, because we have been given the ability to be healthy and stay that way! We are getting down to the wire of this challenge and we really need to press in. Do what you need to do to get those unwanted pounds off! You are well worth it! I understand your frustration; it's hard to get the momentum back when you've stalled. But leaving the challenge and taking a rest would just stall you more; maybe you could reevaluate what you've been doing or not doing, and make a new plan and get recommitted, you'll be able to get back on the losing train. Don't give up! It's worth the work!

I am the point where I feel like leaving the challenge. Simply because I don't think I've given my all. the scale has been moving back up instead of down. I still haven't gotten a handle on my eating and I think I just need to rest. Maybe I'm just frustrated.

My goals for September:
1) Increase the intensity of my work-outs. Go the extra ten minutes on the videos that I usually feel too tired to complete

Good Morning!!

I lost 3 pounds this week so that'll jump me alot closer to my goal of 30 for the 100 days. I'm gonna have to bust my butt (literally) to make it but I'm up for the challenge! My eating is fine -- no problem so far; I just need to get consistent with the exercising and bump it up.

This week I take my daughter back to college and then my husband and I are visiting the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (a treat for us getting her there!). I'll be getting lots of exercising carrying boxes and walking all over the city, so I should still see results but I'm not going to have time to work on my exercise program here. That comes next week; she'll be gone and my husband starts on second shift (3 - 11) which means I have the entire evening to myself. I can exercise more and eat just what I want to. That's when I turn up the heat!

Hope you all did well this week! Half-way there, time to press on toward the goal!!!

Just checking in also. So far I haven't been able to not eat something after 9:00. Sunday I caught myself eating some almonds (gave the rest to my hubby), yesterday had some grapes, but today I'm not eating anything else tonight. Late supper, got done just before 9:00. Oh, wanted to share a success....had to work out of town today, stopped with a co-worker to get a bacon/egg/cheese biscuit at Micky D's...when I ordered I ordered an apple walnut salad instead. I really wanted the biscuit, but didn't order it. Yea!

One of my mini-challenges is to check in here daily, so here I am. :)

It was an "ok" day....I'm using a Gold/Silver/Bronze ranking of days. Today was a low silver, high bronze. I was in training all afternoon. We had 1 short break, at which time, I lost all concept of reality and ended up at the vending machine, getting a candy bar. After I ate it, I sat down to journal it (points for that) and realized that I had brought watermelon and a 100 calorie pack of cookies from home for my snack. Those had not crossed my mind until that moment.

But, the candy was journaled and I moved on. I got my water in and checked in here!

Overall, I'm happy with the day.

I did my 1.30 miles in 22 minutes with inclinations [3-5%] and after this I danced Latino music in the living room for 5 minutes. (to fright my “ghosts” away) emoticon

As far as the water pill goes, when my period is getting ready to start I take Diurex. It's a water pill that helps to eliminate water retention. I also take it when I eat a lot of Sodium to get rid of the water retention.

Just a reminder! Remember, you can do this, despite the downs that come with losing weight. Obstacles do come in the way. However, overcome the obstacles by running through them. We can do this! If this journey was easy, then everyone would do it. We are the Women on a Mission! Our mission is to go through our weight loss journey like running a marathon, not a sprint. We want to get this weight off and keep it off! We have 69 more days for this challenge. All we can do is our best! Let's give these next days our commitment to be healthy! Glad to hear everyone's doing better!!

Good work on the exercising Elizabeth! I think a few calories over every now and then aren't bad but it's probably best to stay within limits. All of your exercising will help!!

You can buy water pills over-the-counter to help you loose excess water weight. If you think you really have a problem they aren't a bad thing to use every now and then. If you think you have a water retention problem though, check your sodium intake and be sure to drink Lots of Water!! (I'm sure you're sick of hearing that!)

I'm having a good day today!! I felt a little sick yesterday and wondered if I wasn't doing too much but I got up and exercised this morning and I feel soooo much better! I think my body was trying to get me to go back to my fat, lazy self! No Way!!!!! There's a New Kid in Town!!!!!!

Girls, it was very hard on the treadmill today. I did not do as much. I think is the humidity again. emoticon
Yesterday I passed 70 calories of my limit... Do you think that I should worry about that? I mean when the calories pass a little?

Thanks to all of you for the support and great feedback! I had been thinking a few of these things were possibilities but really needed to hear that someone else thought the same thing. Thanks and hugs all around.
I allowed myself a bit of a wallow yesterday/today without going completely off the deep end. Now I'm ready to get right back to it. Thanks again.
