So February is done. I had a little success this month... but it is a good start for me, since I have been in a holding pattern since pretty much November. It feels great to be back on track.

I lost 3 lbs and .25". So not exactly the lottery, but I can treat myself and DH to a coffee at Timmies today. emoticon

Now that I a back in the swing, I can't wait for March. I have a goal in mind now. We have a family reunion to attend this August and I want to look smoking hot. emoticon

Hello all!! Sorry for being MIA! Life has gotten so busy between work, my long commute, and the gym!

Taylor-Made - I live in Puyallup right now. Where do you live?

I had been off track with eating until Monday... I was out of town over the weekend and ate HORRIBLY! But it is a new week, and I finally had the nerve to weigh myself after 2 weeks... Lost 2 lbs!!!

I haven't lost too much workout time. I did take a 4 day break for my short trip to New Mexico... and I was pretty upset with myself for eatting so bad and not working out, so I am back to it and hitting it hard!

Great job everybody!! We can finish this month strong!! emoticon

Ladies, I think I am going to start March's challenge early this time around. I will post it on Saturday and we will start it on this Sunday! However, still keep track of your measurements, because we are going to continue to measure and weigh ourselves throughout the year!

Hi I went off track over the weekend after being quite disciplined in the week. Weighed myself on Saturday morning and had lost 2lbs,not expecting to see aloss this week though. Will try harder from today.

Well, I wasn't able to get the massage or a facial. However, I did treat myself to some new diamond studs. I bought myself some flowers and had a long, hot relaxing bath! I also had a great workout! This was a wonderful Valetine's Day! emoticon

This weekend I have a lot going on so after my DH gets back from duty we'll go to a sushi restaurant that is real close to the house. Afterwards I will make a cake for my friend's baby shower I am throwing on Sunday.

Saturday night I spent the evening making a cake for a surprise baby shower (I've recently jumped into cake decorating, hehe). Then Sunday I spent time with a bunch of friends, laughing and having a good time. And I didn't have ANY cake!! Yay me. I have far more willpower than I give myself credit for.

And although I haven't lost any poundage this week (damn being a woman), I also haven't gained any, lol. And I'm down 2" from last week!!

I went out with a group of girlfriends Friday night. I was the designated driver, so I stuck to mineral water all night - saved some calories there. We also went dancing. I haven't been dancing in ages. We had a blast - a lot of laughing, a lot of talking, and some serious sweating.

I had a great weekend. I finally saw "He's just not that into you". The movie was pretty funny! However, it had me and my girlfriends talking about the whole dating scene, which can be difficult sometimes! If any of you go see it, please let me know what you thought of it! I'm actually thinking about getting the book with the same title.

So, this weekend, I allowed myself to have fun with friends. I really laughed a lot! Please share what you did this weekend to meet this challenge!

I want to see that movie, too. It looks like fun.

It seems more than one of us had a bit of a rough week this past week. There was nothing wrong with me, but it was TOM, I was nasty, bloated, and eating constantly. Add to that, I had bronchitis, so I couldn't breathe well enough to walk up the stairs, let alone work out.

Happily, I am breathing better, the cravings have subsided, and I look forward to getting back in the swing of things.

Commit-next week will be a GOOD week-make some plans for it if you can.Hang in there.

I've been doing pretty well with eating my 5 fruit and veg and getting in my water and staying away from refined sugars. Not so good with the exercise though. I've lost 3 lbs this week.

Happy Friday, ladies!!! It's another rainy day here is Washington... it sure does make it hard to stay happy! Well, training again last night... I'm so sore today, I don't know if I will be able to move tomorrow! My trainer had me doing squats and lunges with the Smith machine... I didn't know that's what it is called, but it's the machine that has the weight bar to hold across your back to add weight to your squats and lunges. I did that for about 20 minutes and then did the leg press machine... I'm going to have some GREAT legs before too long!!

Rock climbing is out this weekend, neither of us have the money this paycheck. I want to do something else fun and adventurous, but I don't know what! If anybody has any ideas I would really appreciate them!

I hope everybody has a great weekend!! Let's forgive ourselves for our bad days and start next week strong!!

Bad week this week. Still finding it hard to get my water into me and can't seem to kick the snacking at night. It is hard when the hubby is one of those lucky ones that can eat what he wants, needs the calories and stay thin.

Weighed in a day early this week (usually Saturday), but we will be out of town this weekend and no scale will be available. I am still the same this week.

We are volunteering at the Canadian Ski Marathon. Hubb's is a HAM radio operator and I will be a non-radio volunteer. This is my first year doing this, so I have not idea what to expect, but it should be tons of fun.

I've been MIA again... I didn't do well on Friday, Sat, Sun, or Monday... My eatting was off and I didn't workout. But yesterday I had my training and got back into the groove! I still have not done measurements... I will see if somebody at the gym can do it today, I am close to my monthly check-in anyway.

I did treat myself last weekend. I spent the whole weekend with the ex-boyfriend... we are on the mend and trying to get more interested in each others past-times. I am peeking into the life he loves playing computer games, and he is going to do something active with me every weekend. So to start things off we spent all weekend with our computers and each other. It was really nice to spend that kind of time together. This weekend we are going to try rock climbing!! I am very excited... can't wait to see how it goes!

STEVIE-How was the movie?? I really want to see it!!

Okay, ladies, hopefully you took your measurements and weighed yourself yesterday, because you are going to love yourself this month, not just on Valentine's Day!

The challenge consist of the following:

1. Cardio: 3-5 days for at least 30 minutes a week

2. Strength Training: 2-3 days a week. Do one to two sets of eight to 10 reps for each major muscle group.

3. Eating: Decrease your refined sugar and processed foods intake. Eat more clean this month! Eliminate empty calories as best you can! Empty calories are those calories that you know you should not have.

4. Relax: Every weekend do something for yourself!

On February 28th, you will take your measurements and weigh yourself. Each inch and pound you lose, you will give yourself a dollar and spend the money on yourself. Buy yourself some flowers. Buy yourself a nice meal. Buy a new scent and candles for your bath! Be creative in buying yourself something nice! You deserve it!

Or ladies, save the money, because at the end of each month, we will take our measurements and weigh in. Each inch and pound lost will be a dollar! At the end of the year, let's see who gained the most money! This is for the competitive ones out there! So, post your results at the end of the month!

Have fun giving yourself awesome times of relaxation this month!
