Got to wash. d.c. yesterday and did lots of walking and sightseeing. There is a gym at the hotel so I got 50 mins of cardio today. More sightseeing and lots more walking ahead today.

Ladies,
I have to say I really moved it yesterday! I walked about 6-7 miles yesterday and I am feeling it this morning. Right now, I do not have a car and I don't have to worry about gas prices (thank God). So, now I have to either walk or bike to where I need to go. So, I am definitely moving it! My thighs are really sore right now. But, I am going for another walk today. I may not walk that many miles today, but I did feel good despite the soreness!

I didn't really take good care of myself this week. It was a crazy week in my doctoral program and I didn't get enough sleep or make enough time to work out. Only 2 walks last week. But, tomorrow is a new day! The swelling in my knee is just starting to go down, so I feel better about the prospects of working out.

Even though half the month is over, I want to participate in this challenge. I didn't post yesterday so I will report on yesterday and today. 9/15: 45 minutes on the treadmill (this is a 15 minute increase for me) 45 minutes of strength training at the gym 9/16: 45 minutes on the treadmill..walked a blister on my heel but I did it. 9/17 45 minutes on the treadmill 45 minutes strength training at the gym

Hello Everyone, Well because of this challenge I got myself out of bed this morning and did a strength training work out. I layed there and thought about going back to sleep, but then thought, need to log in the strength training for the challenge. I got up. There really is no excuse for me not being able to do this three days a week, but I got one in and plan on getting one more !! Cardio is all good. I will log my results at the end of the week. I was just excited that I finally got up and did my strength training !! YEAH

Sunday I had a stomach virus and was feeling really yucky. Just laid around all day. Feeling better today but no exercise today. Will just take it easy till I feel 100% again. Tomorrow it is back to the gym and then therapy.

Yay..I'm finally back. It has been a long time, but i'm back again. Things have been crazy...with the kids and being sick...but it's all good now. I haven't really lost weight..but I have lost inches. Katie and I were in a fashion show yesterday...it went great. I posted the pictures on my spark page. I finally got into a size 10 pair of jeans and a medium shirt. I haven't seen those sizes since high school.

9/13: 103 mins cycling 20.5 miles. With my dad. Dad will be 84 in December. Later in the afternoon, did another 48 minutes cycling with my BF, 10 miles. And then we walked for about 20 minutes. Lots of cardio today. Total 171 minutes.

I FINALLY did get to the gym today for 60 mins of cardio and I feel so much better after I exercise. Why can't I remember how good I feel after exercising?

Happy Friday Everyone Cardio this week: 4 sessions of over 30 minutes each Strentgh Training: 1/2 (I am working on this) Yoga - 20 minutes. Kept in calorie range. Keep up the good work everyone.

Did better with my eating today. I'm a little bummed since I developed runners knee. My doctor is asking me to cut back pretty significantly on cardio activities I like to do. So I'm trying to figure out how to maintain my motivation at this point.

Here is what I have done so far for the week:
Sun- ate w/in calories Mon- 60 min kick boxing class/ ate w/in calories Tues- 60 min aerobic class/ ate w/in calories Wed- 60 min softball Thurs- 60 min weight training class
so far so good on the exercise but I need to still work on the eating
