hi everyone! This was a great challenge and I lost a little over 5 pounds this month so I am very happy about that, when I started the challenge I could not do the 50 pushups but within three weeks I was able too! I also added planks to my strength training I am feelign great about the next challenge! All colors in today yesterday not so much

Ladies,

This is the last day of the Stop Traffic Challenge for July. However, we are going to continue this challenge in August with a few modifications. I will be posting that challenge later on today, because we will be starting that challenge on Sunday through Sunday, August 31st! We are well on our way to stopping traffic!

Ended July on an okay note. Got in all my colors, but went over calories. Had a hard time controlling my eating at social events. Also rested my body and tried some fun activities on my Wii Fit.

had a great work out last night did 30 minutes on the elliptical and did three laps on the track doing a sprints! I was so excited! I have come such a long way since May of 2007. I NEVER thought I would be able to sprint!

did day 2 bootcamp video...will do cardio tonight...although i've been walking up and down 2 flights of stairs all day doing laundry...i think i'm on the 8th load...lol I am hoping to get my walk in...if the rain stops..if not i'll do cardio video

Hey all, sorry I haven't posted in a while. We were on vacation for a family reunion. I am glad to report that I did stick with "better" choices of food for the entire week.

I had grilled vegetables, some cheese, two slices of french toast (no syrup), salad, steak, steamed vegetables. I did indulge twice and had some ice cream...but did not have any birthday cake! What I did do was wine...and lots of it. But it was a party..lol.

I did exercise twice while on vacation. Went for a jog/walk with my sister-in-law and at our hotel on the way back home I worked out on the treadmill and elliptical.

Now I am back home and ready to get back into my groove!

Ode to my blubber. Bye Bye Blubber!

Thanks for the one hundred pushups website. I think I am going to incorporate that into my August challenge as well. However, I am going for the full push up, instead of the modified ones. What I mean, is that I will do the modified ones (girl pushups), but I am going to also increase the number of full pushups into my workouts. I really want to hone in on my triceps next month! Thanks again for the website.

I am doing good today on my colors so far....tomatoes, corn, green beans, (homemade veggie soup) I am about half way to my water for the day, I did 45 minutes of strength training and the day 1 bootcamp 10 min video.

Great work guys!
I got all my colours yesterday (tasty tomato soup, green salad, yellow potatoes)...
And I did the 10-minutes Bootcamp cardio workout and the 15 minute Abs workout here on SP (I was having tummy problems yesterday evening, and so I just worked out at home...

I am in for an august challenge I really enjoyed this one and proud to say I finally got to the 50 pushups I am really proud of that and added planks into workout.

I took theday off yesterday from the gym and switching up my cardio routine to MWF and Sundays.

Got all my colors in yesterday.

I didn't do a great job with the challenge during July and would love another shot.

Friday - Red, green; 30 min low impact aerobics.
Saturday - All colors in; 50 min walk
Sunday - Red, Green; Rest

I had a pretty bad weekend when it came to eating. We went out a lot with friends and I definitely gave into my cravings.

45 min walk

I have had to take a break for a couple of days to heal from a knee injury..but will be able to go back to my routine tomorrow.

Hey all...
So, do green, red, and yellow PB m&ms count for our colours?? lol! I got a few of those in after my football game, and I got my ACTUAL colours in yesterday. :)

Not sure what is up for tonight, but I have a great lunch packed. And my friend (who moved away earlier this summer) is supposed to be in town to see me tonight, so we'll probably get a Starbucks or something.

hi ladies,

i had a bad last week. I had an allergic reaction and my face looked like will smith in hitch :( i did not work out last week but did some walking... I am back this week 45 minutes on the elliptical and back and legs (strength) took off today but ate all the colors.

this will be a good week!

decided to go for a run tonight in a 100 degree temp..have no idea what came over me...but enjoyed it! Did a mile in a half in 19 minutes..not to bad for being so warm out. Got all colors in today and will do strength training tomorrow

It sounds like you guys had a great weekend!

I've had my Starbucks today for breakfast, so I am good to go! :P

It is going to be a difficult week, I think, because my sweetie is working his first set of "nights". 3-11:30 pm, 5pm-1:30 am... Though, I DO think that will be better than him having to wake up at 4:30am (because then I can't really get back to sleep...).

I had a great walk yesterday morning, 8km, 1.5 hrs. I got to lead our Team in Trianing walking group, which was cool (I got to make up the route). I also had a pretty good slo-pitch game yesterday, too, until the end of our 5th inning (we only play 7), when this jerk on our team showed up and started causing... problems. One dude can really bring down the morale of an entire team! :S Sad, sad. But the rest of the day was very good!
