Thanks for the insight! I have to figure out a schedule as well. I really love running outside, but our weather has been terrible for the last few days! I hope that it is nice this weekend, because I rather run at a park than at the gym!

Hey ladies,

Wish I could say that I lost a good amount, but I probably lost a half pound at most. Not enough for me to say I earned changing the ticker. I've been really struggling with eating and that definitely continued this month.

STEVIE - I run 3-4 times a week. Usually do one long run (5-6 miles) and I do shorter several runs ~30-40 minutes. My long run tends to happen on Saturday or Sunday. Today, I was feeling particularly good outside and ran 6 miles. My schedule is a bit off right now.

Missed the gym again today but I did get outdoors for a 60 min walk with some pretty steep hills.

Congratulations on the weight loss, Rosie! I didn't lose 5, I gained one, but I am sure it is muscle because I have been focusing so much on strength training this month, so I'm not so terribly disappointed.

I have a question for you! How often do you run? Do you run every other day or everyday? I went outside for the first time yesterday and ran for 21 minutes, which I have not done for a long time it seems. So, can you let me know?

Well, ladies, I lost my 5 pounds this month! Thank God! I really pushed myself this month and July will be no different. However, I really want to focus on my eating my strictly next month, because I want to start seeing some definition in my lower body! So, I am going to continue to increase my protein intake as well as my veggies and fruits. I am so excited about the changes in my body! emoticon

I have now lost 6 lbs for the month of june. I got 45 minutes of cardio in yesterday. today is C25k and strength training.

hi everyone. I am having a good week. I did my C25K last night, did 40 minutes of cardio. today is strength training and walking 3 miles. I've been doing heavy cleaning and scrubbing all day.

So I am back from vacation. While I was gone I weighed myself on my mother's scale and it showed that I had lost 2 more lbs. Then I came home on Wed and weighed myself to be sure but I was back to 200lbs. I wonder though if its water retention from my monthly cycle. I think it must be because in the past few months I notice I gain a couple lbs just before I start. So I will weigh myself again on Monday to see if I lost. Hopefully I would have lost 2 more from this week.

I got back on my routine for swimming and I was able to do freestyle up and then slowly paddle back on my back. I think this flow will work well to working me into steady swimming. I am so CLOSE!! I was a little bad as far as my food goes while I was gone but I was still pretty good, Just barely off.

Let's hope I lost it as of next week. emoticon

I did manage to get to the fitness center at the hotel and workout for 40 min. Will have to be careful with my food intake because of eating out each meal..

Hello Everyone. I am back from my mini beach vacation. We enjoyed ourselves. I am proud of myself for staying mostly within my calorie range and exercising. I also got my 8 & 8 each day and today I am back to my routine.

hi everyone. yesterday was a really good day...i had lots of fruits/veggies, 11 cups of water..did 80 minutes of cardio and 80 minutes of strength training. I weighed in this morning and am down 2 pounds. today is starting out great...already have 3 fruit servings and 3 cups of water in...getting ready to go for my run/walk

I am doing pretty well myself! I have gone running the past 2 days. 30 minutes on Monday and 40 minutes yesterday. I am sore, but it feels so great to be getting out and jogging again! I'm also down 2 pounds! YAY!

I'm still not being consistent withmy eating, but I did get in 300 mins of exercise last week. I've been getting between 6 -8 hours sleep lately.

WOW Stevie! Great job with your fitness!

I got in 35 min on the treadmill and then 30 min of lower body strength training. Was just over my range today, but I made good choices my in large.

Ladies, I did it again! I did Jillian's 30-day Shred Level 2 in the afternoon and a Bootcamp in the evening! I am already feeling both workouts. However, they are definitely paying off, because I am seeing some definition in my arms and abs. Also, my legs are getting smaller! Thank God!

Ladies, I think we are really going to see some amazing results, if we continue to press in and push it!

got to the gym today for 60 cardio and 10 upper body machines. Yesterday I did not get to go for a walk because of heavy rain and thunderstorms but did much work in the house instead. Gotta keep moving to burn those calories.

Ladies, I am proud of all you that hung in there for this month's challenge! Picking June's Breakthrough Women on a Mission is not going to be an easy task! This is our last week of this challenge and I am going to post July's challenge on Saturday! Walked 3 miles today, worked in the garden and did bootcamp cardio video, alon gwith bootcamp day 7 strengthtraining, dumbel side bends, wall pushups and crunches.

I finally did it today!! I swam to the whole length of the pool without having to stop because of being winded. So I did lots of laps today and I found that the new breathing techniques that I learned from the swimming SP team & goswim.tv really helped. I did these drills:

SO now I do a length of the pool and then tread water... and then head back and tread some more. Today I did some treading without using my arms. Plus I did some kick board training. Both of these are heavy workouts on the legs. Plus I had to shop afterwards so my legs are vibrating!

But I got my 8 & 8 today and I am all set to leave for the beach on Sunday. We are going to be gone from Sunday to Tuesday. I should be able to check in but I think most of my exercise will be walking. :)

Well, I didn't do so well yesterday. I got home from work and I was suffering from a horrible migrane. I made the decision not to workout, and because I didn't feel well enough to cook my boyfriend and I went out to dinner. I still ate decent, but went over my calories. Hopefully this weekend will be a good one and maybe next week I will hop back on the scale... I've been too afraid I won't see any progress and get discouraged. Everyone have a happy Friday!

slept better last night and hope to do even better tonight. I really do need those 7-8 hrs sleep to function each day. without enough sleep I seem to be "foggy" all day.
Forced myself to go to the gym today and managed to do 30 tread and 30 bike.

I took the day off yesterday, but stayed in range. Today is going well. Got in 50 min at the gym and am on target with calories. It's going to be a long night writing a paper, so I'm hoping to avoid the munchies.

Good work, ladies!

I have been feeling physically ok lately, even though my eating has totally gone to snot! Anyway, I think I am eating crappier to replace the sleep that I have been missing the past few weeks... but, I am working on chaning that (I ALMOST called in sick this morning so I could sleep in for a few more hours!!)...

Exciting news! My bf and I had a meeting with the site supervisor for our new house, and he anticipates it will be done by the end of September!!! So we are super excited!! But now we need someone to buy our condo... Nevertheless... we were initially quoted 6-8 months (Sept-Nov), then our foundation was poured a month late (Oct-Dec or longer)... and now it seems ahead of schedule! :D This is sooo cool!

Yesterday was another good day! I stayed within my range, though it was at the higher end. I got in 30 minutes of cardio and a little bit of strength. It's hard for me to track how much sleep I get because it takes me so long to get to sleep. I can be in bed with my eyes closed at 9, but not doze off until 9:45 or 10. Last night I got somewhere between 7-8 hours of sleep. Hopefully working out will make it eaiser for me to get to sleep quicker.

Caught up on my sleep after my night shift yesterday, so didn't get to do any exercise. I did a lot of comfort eating last night, so will get back on track today. I'm going to do some strenth exercises in a little while and I've booked to go an aqua fit class this afternoon- not sure what to expect.

Great idea! I know we can do it and you are right, some of us are struggling! However, we have to remember that the weight did not come on overnight and it will not come off overnight! We have to hang in there, because the weight will come off! Ladies, just stay focused, because remember you are worth the effort and the time! You are worth eating well! You are worth getting the proper amount of rest! You are worth taking that walk or run! You are worth it! We can do it!

Hey everyone. Some of us are struggling. I think we should try to give personal encouragement to those whom are struggling and some pats on the back for those sticking to it. Everyone pick 2 people and give them a supportive comment or goodie.

As for me... other than being a bit hormonal I am ok, I think. I worked out today at the pool and included some "core exercises" at each end of the pool. I did 10 sets of "around the world crunches" today.

I did these as my lower cardio workout in between laps. I am working on my wind and at least including some strength within my cardio. Along with some stretches. I can take advantage of that out of breath stuff us fat girls have. :)

Got to the gym today for 45 minutes. Am enjoying some 10-minute yoga/pilates videos I have. I can do them any time, which is nice.

Nutrition - I'm doing the 5 small meals a day, with two protein drinks for two of the meals. Not hungry at all. We'll see how it works out.

I manage to do some exercise every day, but the nutrition is my problem right now. When I'm at home, I do fine because I like to cook healthy. My biggest problem is that I eat out too often. I get invited by friends and then I struggle to pick healthy choices when what I really want is the most fattening thing on the menu. I need to stay away from restaurants, move to the desert or something. :)
