To answer your question about strength training:

I use a few machines (upper and lower) at the gym 3-4 times per week.
I use free weights at home (upper only) 2 times, sometimes 3 times per week.

I'm doing pretty good this week, I have actually managed to get at least 7 hours of rest for 3 days this week-that is major lol! I haven't done any weight training, but my cardio has been fine and I have been in range for all but 1 one.

Just be careful with Subway. Some of those sandwiches are high in calories and they are not as healthy as everyone is assuming. So, be careful!
