Sorry been away for way to long and now my computer will not copy and paste so. I started at 229 and i have reached my goal of 223 lbs. in just over 1 month. I`ve been dealing with a major injury and have not been to the gym due to it and well not eating all that great but been keeping up with my water in take.

Actual Weight Tuesday, August 2:188 DOWN .8 this week, which isn't what I had hoped for. I am grateful to be down at all though. I have not worked out since Thursday, I have been feeling crummy. I went to the doc yesterday and he diagnosed severe swimmers ear in my left ear and mild to moderate in my right. Today I have been really struggling with nausea, faintness and dizziness. I could barely stand long enough to weigh myself! I did reduce my calories to reflect my inactivity, but I had a super high sodium day yesterday so I hope the scale goes back down with lower sodium.

GOAL! Lost 8 lbs before my birthday (this weekend)

Starting Weight Monday, August 1: 186.5
Ending Weight Tuesday, August 30: 178.5
Pounds lost: 8 lbs
Suspect it will be less next month because I'm going to be eating toward the middle-top end of my range to up my protein, which I am consistently having a hard time getting.

I don't have weekly goals. I have the goal to lose 7 pounds by my birthday (very beginning of Sept).

August 9th: 184 lbs

August 16th: 183 lbs (of course I should have waited until all the monthly bloating was gone because today I weighed in at 182 pounds).

August 23rd: 181 lbs

August 30th: 178.5 lbs

I'm not going to beat myself up about the 2.5 lbs weight gain. I've been side lined due to an injury and truth be told I have not been tracking my food now for a week. So with that been said, I will get back on the " horse" and start cal counting again and doing mini work outs at home. 2 more weeks till I hit the gym again post knee injury.

I would like to join this 5 lb challenge but I promised myself that I wouldn't weigh myself again until the end of the month (which should be easy because the batteries in my scale died and they cost $20 to replace...funny the scale only cost $30) .

That being said my starting weight is 189. Come August 30 my weight will be 184 of lower!

I've not had a stellar week. I've been sidelined by my knee yet again at boot camp last Thursday and back to my old destructive habits of eating ( chips comfort food) and not working out. Take the week off from the gym to let my knee heal some more. I'm hoping to get back on track in a week or 2 from this injury.

I don't have a weekly goal. I have the goal to lose 7 pounds by my birthday (very beginning of Sept).

August 9th: 184 lbs

August 16th: 183 lbs (of course I should have waited until all the monthly bloating was gone because today I weighed in at 182 pounds).

August 23rd: 181 lbs

I gained 3 pounds!!!! emoticon ...I did everything right all the way until Saturday night and then....I ate a little too much emoticon ...good news though body fat dropped from 28% to 26% that's the lowest fat percentage I've had. I'll be real good this week...I promise emoticon

Been busy so posting my Friday weight in late this week.

Actual Weight Monday, July 29: 86.5 (190.7 pounds) - wow I get the to good to be true feeling!! I have been good with watching what I eat and keeping up with my work out this week. I am not expecting this kind of weight loss again next week but I am very happy to see this number :-)

Starting weight Saturday, July 30: 189 Weighing in a little late. Had a big move in my life and as a result, was offline for several days. Played softball all day on the 31st, and my body is still healing after all that! Ready for this month's challenge! I have a trip at the end of this month and I would like to at least make my 5 lb goal. :) Good Luck Everyone!

I think I need to just start tracking my progress with eating right and exercising regularly on SP. I don't care much for feeling great about what I did all week just to be disappointed in myself first thing in the morning on my weekends because the scale isn't reflecting the inner changes in me. :-(

Actual Weight Tuesday, August 2:188 DOWN .8 this week, which isn't what I had hoped for. I am grateful to be down at all though. I have not worked out since Thursday, I have been feeling crummy. I went to the doc yesterday and he diagnosed severe swimmers ear in my left ear and mild to moderate in my right. Today I have been really struggling with nausea, faintness and dizziness. I could barely stand long enough to weigh myself! I did reduce my calories to reflect my inactivity, but I had a super high sodium day yesterday so I hope the scale goes back down with lower sodium.

I really want to be at 145 by the end of August. I gained two lbs. on my 10 day vacation, not too bad! So I started August at 152.5. One day of exercise and staying in my calories goals brought me down to 150.5 by the second day of August. Today's 8/05 and I'm at 149. I need to lose 1 lb. a week to meet my goal. I ate about 700 hundred calories over my alloted amount yesterday, but danced for hours to make up for it. One of my side goals is to stay within my calories (1550) for five days in a row. Not yet but today could be the day!

Actual Weight Tuesday, August 2:188 DOWN .8 this week, which isn't what I had hoped for. I am grateful to be down at all though. I have not worked out since Thursday, I have been feeling crummy. I went to the doc yesterday and he diagnosed severe swimmers ear in my left ear and mild to moderate in my right. Today I have been really struggling with nausea, faintness and dizziness. I could barely stand long enough to weigh myself! I did reduce my calories to reflect my inactivity, but I had a super high sodium day yesterday so I hope the scale goes back down with lower sodium.

Last month was a bust. Not sure how I thought I'd reach my goal without putting out any real effort. Exercise was fine, but I treated almost everyday like a "cheat" day. It's a new attitude today, this week, this month!!

Hi, all! Another newbie to the group. I am starting my weight loss journey (again - I lost 22 lbs back in 2008-2009 with WW, but have gained back 25 since July 2010) in the midst of a devastating situation in my life and this seemed like the best place to start. A pound a week? I think I can handle that.

Wow, well August turned out to be quite a struggle. First I got sick and then the unexpected death of a close family friend really changed everything. I am just getting back on track now, and so am weeks behind. I am not beating myself up for it, or trying not to, and am just buckling back down and trying to get back into my schedule - before my job ends this week and I move next week and everything changes again, that is!

I use Friday as my official weight in day and I set the goal of loosing 0.3 kg (0.7 pound) pr week.

But I have been on the scale last two days and was 86.9 this morning!! I will still keep with the official weight in and the goal I am working on since I thing this can be a jump down that will correct it self (kind of to good to be true feeling!).
