I'm right at 187.5, so no gain for me-which really is a miracle. Joe didn't have time to weigh in this morning, he'll be weighing in tomorrow. For the month I'm down 1.5 pounds, which is about right for me. When I lose, it's normally about half a pound a week. The real challenge will be the week that we'll be in San Diego!

Chomping at the bit to get back into a good exercise routine.

Turned the corner today, made some great inroads into climbing my mountain at school.

I see the light now at the end of the tunnel, and it is not an oncoming train either.

265 again, so held the line. Now onward, and upward on the mountain and downward on the scale.

I didn't have a chance to weigh in on Friday, but today I'm at 210 lbs, down a pound from last week!! emoticon

And that's after having some very LUSCIOUS La Baguette cake and other yummy indulgences this weekend! So I'm feeling pretty good!! YAY!!

Gained one lb this weekend, not a suprise since I was out misbehaving with my fellow campers Saturday night-we all paid our due this morning :) It was worth it, we had fun. Back to it today.

185 Monday morning. I think I'm going to carry this over into the holiday weekend, just to keep me mindful of what I'm doing. So for me one more weekend :)

Stayed steady at 211#... Since I haven't had quite as much activity as usual (yeah, I started the running program, but that's fewer calories than I was burning at the gym, so I'm gonna have to find a way to fit in both!!), I think that's good.

I'm not sure if I'm going to participate in the weekend challenge this weekend, because I already know it's going to be a very high calorie weekend. I guess maybe I should, just so I know how hard I need to work next week!!! LOL

I didn't quite make it to the 15 miles on the bike this week. I only got in about 7 miles....it's still early but there is no way I'll get in 8 miles today!!!

Short of hiring out your kids as 'Rent A Kids' if any will take them, here is some good news.

Housecleaning is a valid, Spark fitness activity. I can't recall exactly which dropdown category it is but you can look around. I know moving boxes, gardening, and a lot of other things get credit as fitness minutes, not just the most well known ones like running, jogging, swimming, biking and exercises.

Looks like I gained a pound. I'm at 212#... however, I wasn't able to weigh at my usual time for the initial weigh in, I weighed in at like 2 p.m., so I wonder if the time difference accounts for the change... *shrug* ah well. Back to it!!

I did gain. But it was only a smidge. I went from 144.6 to 144.8. Which honestly is impressive since Friday I was WAY over my calories! And I didn't make very good choices for the rest of the weekend. I'll be signing up for this again next weekend!!

Joe held steady at 234-no gain which is outstanding since he was down 2 lbs before starting!

I lost one pound, down to 188. My big challenge is to keep it off this week and perhaps lose another before Friday. It's no fun to lose it only to put it back on.

It looks like everyone has had a great weekend. I think this challenge is really working-yay!!!!emoticon

@Jesse... don't get too frazzed about where and what, I have heard about some "anal' team leaders, and I am the "team leader' so far as I know there is no Report Nazi, you need to worry about, have fun with this, and I am a firm believer in keeping the main thing the main thing, that is the walking, and... screw any bean counters. OK, yep, am in rare form today, got up and did my weigh in, down a few lbs. this week, I wonder why... well locked horns with several ornery 7th graders the last few days. Ouch, for them, they don't yet know who they are messing with. emoticonemoticonemoticon

Thank you SO much for saying that!! I woke up at 6, with a ton of stuff to do today. When I read what you wrote, I decided I had better try and be inspirational. :) I went to the gym in the middle of my crazy morning and worked out 525 calories (so said my machine). We've ended up being an inspiration to each other today. Now, If I can get all 120 ounces of water down today I'll be overly excited. :)

Also, walking is exercise you know.. I think you should guesstimate how much walking you've done and let it count. Hope you're havin an awesome day!!

Yes, Jessie, this is where you should report any challenge results! And I've read several articles (here and other places) that say that as long as you're getting 10 minutes at a time, you can totally count "broken up" sessions! So it's not cheating to count it!!!

Mixed reviews from our house. Westieguy is up one pound weighing in at 236. I'm down a pound, coming in at 188. We're planning on making adjustments!

We're thinking of going with no eating after 8pm, except on Thursdays when our band goes out after practice, and/or no carbs after 8pm. Our daughter & son in law say this is the one thing that really works for them, and they're both in excellent shape.

Morning, all! Today's weight is 139.5, up 3/4 lb over the weekend. Well, I've done worse! Need to get back into the journaling & exercising; last week was just such a lazy week for me. Weatherman says it will cool off a smidge this week, only high 90's and low 100's, hey, at least it's an improvement. I DID manage to walk the dog yesterday. Tonight will be cardio, and tomorrow - weights!emoticon

Monday morning starts with good news, 183.4 this AM. Lets see how far I can really go-I'd like to lose 10 more before my trip home in 6 weeks.

Ok, I'm in too for the weight 188 this morning. Ihaven't been eating well the last few days and there's a little water weight in there so Mondya may be a bigger number just becasue I dropped some of that water and ate better!

Also got my five days of 30 minutes or more in and Jessie is well on her way! Rock it out today young lady!! I'm cheering for you!
