Last day of the month.

Congratulations to everyone who covered any number of miles this month. Keeping moving is the most important thing.

I'm thinking we'll have an international destination in May and think about continuing down the east coast maybe in the fall, or sooner if folks want. So take a look later tonight to see where we are going. It's a mystery.....

I did the elliptical yesterday and I just got back from a jog/run. Next on the agenda, after finishing this post is supper, grocery store, laundry and virtual trip planning.

88 miles - Huntington Beach State Park to Folly Beach

I plan to really cut back my walking this month. After 4 months of doing just walking for exercise (training for a marathon), I'm ready for some different exercises. I'm sure I'll still be walking to work and some extra walking/hiking so 88 miles sounds about right.

We had a pretty big thunderstorm last night and thankfully a lot of pollen has been washed out of the air. I went for a walk this morning with a friend and again just now by myself. It's a lovely day. When I got home, I picked up some stray pine branches (small) which had been blown from the trees during the storm last night. Just lifting one and putting in the yard waste bin gave me a wave of yellow-green pollen. Yuck! Hope it's nearly done or we will need another big rain.

Ruth - I was pulling for Michigan too. Oh well....

I haven't been doing a good job of posting here, but I have been doing a good job covering miles. Also, have resumed strength training. It got axed when I had a bad sinus infection and no energy, and then I got lazy. I'm glad to be back in the groove!

88 miles - Huntington Beach State Park to Folly Beach

I plan to really cut back my walking this month. After 4 months of doing just walking for exercise (training for a marathon), I'm ready for some different exercises. I'm sure I'll still be walking to work and some extra walking/hiking so 88 miles sounds about right.

I'm going to shoot for 44 miles - Huger to Folly Beach. Since I just moved (yesterday) this is another month of not knowing what's a reasonable distance for me, but it'll be fun to figure it out as I get settled in.
