141 miles - New Bern to Sunset Beach

My left hip and right toe have been bothering me. I'm hoping to continue with the marathon training through this month which would make 141 miles very doable. Didn't get off to a good start, though.

Well gang, I'm just going to admit that I'm done for the month. I'm moving on Monday, and I'm starting to feel as though trying to meet this goal is just one thing too many to try to fit into my head. So, I'll be packing for the next couple of days - trying to remember all the places around my cousin's house where I stashed things and making sure that I know where the most important papers are) and I'll catch up with you as we start April. I'm moving to Fredericksburg, VA where I'll be living in the downtown area with SIDEWALKS! I'll be walking to the grocery store AND the laundromat, so I will definitely be walking more.

Ann go easy on that knee!

Catching up after a few days of doing stuff, but not posting. I raised a few eyebrows in the fitness center at work today. One long time co-worker came in to find me riding the bike and looked at me quizzically. Then I really threw him off by running a mile on the treadmill. Trying to mix it up! Just recording today's short run and yesterday's elliptical session. And several other days in between it seems!

My left hip and right toe have been bothering me. I'm hoping to continue with the marathon training through this month which would make 141 miles very doable. Didn't get off to a good start, though.

Well, since things are still very up in the air with me and likely to stay that way at least through much of March, I'm going to aim low - 37 miles - Southport to Sunset Beach. I hope to exceed this and I really hope to be living somewhere where I can walk more, safely, by April.

We're going to continue to make our way south through North Carolina. We'll end up at Sunset Beach, the southernmost of the beautiful beaches in my home state.

How does this work?
