Sorry about not posting the June destination before the end of May or at least by June 1st. I've been crazy busy. We do a fundraising at church - pork BBQ -- on the first Friday of June and June 1st really snuck up on us. We raised some money, had great fellowship and the food was good. And I think the clean up is finally finished.

I'll put up a link to our June destination shortly. Didn't see any suggestions, so I picked our destination.

Finally I went for a real walk, while my MIL stayed with my wife. I did a 5K walk/run but only ran for a total of 3 minutes. I was walking and I just wanted to run! All I could think of was, "Run, Forest! Run!" Today my knee feels better and my backside is a little sore.

Well, I thought I'd be home by now, but I'm still with family. Up early, listened to Sing for Joy on the radio, then off to church to do paperwork, lead the band, worship, eat at the Youth Fellowship fundraising lunch, count offering, farmer's market, digest lunch, run. Now what? Oh, a shower for sure. Temperatures are in the high 70s but with all the rain we got yesterday and threats of same today is it ever humid!

Joan: Glad you could run! I think this will be an elliptical month. Hubby can't run (nor walk very far right now) until his calf heals and I'm trying to get my plantar fasciitis to ease up before running again.

Ran yesterday - well about 2.5 miles of a run and the rest was walking. It was in the low 90s here at 6pm when I started out. Too hot too soon! Today may be a rest day. We'll see.

Well, this month didn't go as planned, but I knew that going into moving I could only make a tentative plan anyway... So, I'm going to try for 46 miles - Grand Mesa to Grand Junction for May and we'll see how I do!
