Yesterday was moving day and we didn't get the last things out of my apartment until about 10 pm. While I never left the apartment complex, I was up and down 3 flights of steps somewhere between hundreds and thousands of times. Well before we finished (and even after a couple of Aleve) it felt like I do after a half marathon. So, I'm going to say that I got in at least 2 miles yesterday!

Elliptical mostly today and also yesterday. We have a new treadmill in our fitness center at work, and nobody was using it so I got acquainted with it for about 8 minutes this afternoon after the elliptical session.

Thanks Joan! I really need to come up with a mileage estimate for the distance between my apartment and the basement. (3rd floor walkup) I just finished bringing up ALL of my empty boxes - at least 6 trips - and I still need to go back and forth a few times to do laundry today.

I haven't disappeared, I've just been in New York City all week. It was my annual spring break trip with my now 14 year old nephew. We saw some plays, some museums, part of the St. Patrick's Day parade, walked around Chinatown and Little Italy and drank 1 chocolate egg cream each. (No eggs in a chocolate egg cream, just milk, seltzer and chocolate syrup.) It's a New York thing.

Joan, one of my sisters just moved to outside of Richmond (Chesterfield), and that's where I'm flying to in just under 4 wks. As you can imagine, with her there (and a ton of research I need to do at the Library of VA), I expect to spend a fair amount of time there. Have fun on your trip!

Hey Ann, I think Richmond or Fredricksburg is about halfway between me and Scrapple. We need to start capitalizing Scrapple, so people will think it's a place and not a possibly disgusting food substance. emoticon

I'll be flying over Prince Frederick shortly - heading to Baltimore & then NYC for a visit.

Took yesterday as a rest day. Today I don't think with the flying & driving that I'll get any cardio in. But I will on Saturday.

I haven't been walking the last couple of days, as I've got lots of packing to do. Saturday I hauled out numerous bags of trash and recycling and Sunday it was more than 6 trips up and down the stairs doing laundry and bringing up empty boxes.
