Ann, Before Char - I'm pretty sure it was Char - found Nowhere Else to walk to, I thought of going back to Europe. I was scoping out a walk to Andorra, a small country in the Pyrenees around where France meets Spain.

A short walk today between errands.

Jan - I've been managing my vacation closely. Because of a software/hardware launch - I work in high tech - last year I basically got neither Christmas nor New Year's off in essence. I might not have been in the office, but I was immediately before and after and I was working New Year's weekend for sure. NOT THIS YEAR!

So I made a list when I got home and all that's basically left is a bit of dusting & vacuuming, now that I've finished a few errands and packed up some cookies for giving away. Can't believe it. Tomorrow night, I go out carolling with a small group from the band. We go to a neighborhood where some band friends live, have a bit of a party at their place, go out and play carols, and collect toiletries for the homeless shelter from the neighbors. And then we go back to the host & hostesses house and laugh a lot. We've been doing this for maybe 15 years???since their daughter was about 7. Now she's 23? Oh my! She won't let us stop and she doesn't even live at home anymore.

Time for bed!

Should of picked a shorter route if I had known I was going to get a cold. Having a hard time getting in the mileage with coughing and such. Wouldn't you know--made it thru all last winter of going thru treatments but not getting the flu or a cold, and got a dandy cold this winter.
