The neighborhood where I live has its own little downtown. I just came through and there were about a billion (maybe 2) little kids and parents out trick or treating. Totally cute!

Did the elliptical today for several more miles. It's pouring rain here this evening. I had two kids come by in costume and it's now past 7pm. So it's not too likely more will be here. I bough Skittles. I despise Skittles, so I'm safe from a candy perspective this evening.

Wow, I've been conspicuous by my absence lately. No excuse. Just been at the beach the end of last week and work is frankly currently and will be just awful for several weeks. At least I hope things wrap up for the current crisis by mid-November. Then factor in a cold that bound to be a sinus infection soon and I'm not a happy camper. Still I have been walking and will finish the miles this month, I believe.

Joan: Just got great news from my youngest son that I'm sure you would appreciate. Our HS marching band just got first place in the finals at the competition they were at today! A first for our school.
