Spent Saturday visiting with friends who were cooking BBQ for the annual Masonic Pig Jig. They won the People's Choice award, so that was good. Then went to see the exhibits at the NC Agricultural Festival and for $2 got to try lots of VERY sweet wine from the eastern part of the state, and a few whites from the more hilly part of the Piedmont. Interesting. I don't like really sweet wine...but I've always wanted to see what that stuff from down east tasted like.

Walked this afternoon. Nearly 90 today! Could use more spring before we get to summer.

Went to the doc this afternoon. According to their computer, I've lost 70 lb since mid-January! LOL She and I figured out the nurse wrote the wrong weight down and had me gaining 50 lbs as the scale is in 50 lb increments (261 instead of 211). We did look back and I have lost 64 lbs in the last year. Last May I was 255, today 191!

Char, Hope you're feeling better. Hate those migraine things. They are definition and poster child of No Fun!

Kevin - thinking about you and yours.

Ann - you're supposed to eat the scrapple, not dwell on it. Did you actually have some? I live for the opportunity to have some. That and Tastykake.

So, went on a long walk yesterday and this morning started out "well" for a VERY questionable definition of "well." I got to work and realized that my backpack with laptop & gym clothes were still at home. So I went inside the building and told my acting manager (our manager is on vacation this week) that I'd be working from home the rest of the day. Sigh... Drove home.

It turned out to be a really pretty day and so I just got back from a run/jog. So all in all, other than wasting gasoline on a 30 mile round trip drive, I can't complain.

I'm home! Time to catch up on many things, including both tracking and commenting. Kevin, you and Angie have been in my thoughts and will continue to be - sending positive thoughts, etc. your way. Jan, so glad that your treatment is progressing well - may it continue to do so. Joan, as you know, the problem with Scrapple (for those who don't know it, it is a sausage relative native to SE Pennsylvania where I grew up that tastes divine) is that if you think too much about what's in it (pretty accurately described as "everything but the oink") you can't eat it anymore! Next on my agenda today... unpacking, tons o' laundry, walking 6 miles (in the rain), some time with my sister showing her the things I brought back... and hoping for some work this week!
