Hey has anyone else tried PB2? It's powdered peanut butter, basically all the fat has been sucked out of it. I love peanut butter butt the stats are well painful. PB2 is only 45 calories a serving and I really like the way it tastes I was wondering if anyone else had tried it and what they thought.

Another way I combat that chocolate insanity is Cocoa nibs, my daughter says they are an acquired taste though because the chocolate is so dark it almost tastes like dirt. To her anyways to me they are awesome. A tsp takes care of me. That stats on that amount is about 40 calories, 3 grams of fat, 1 carb and 1g of fiber. But as I said definitely an acquired taste, I used to eat coffee beans straight. I don't do that anymore I promise, it is baaaaad for you.

Ok when you have to have sweet, and you want a brownie, but are trying to be good this works awesome!

1 14oz-to 15oz can of pumpkin puree (NOT PUMPKIN PIE MIX)
1 box a devil's food cake mix

Mix them together, but them in a muffin pan and Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Makes 12 regular or 36 mini muffins.

a regular muffin is 181 calories, 3.5g fat, 37g carbs, 2g fiber, 2g protein

They are evil fudgey!

My easy base roast recipe:

1 3lb roast (beef or pork)
1 jar chunky spaghetti sauce
cook in slow cooker on high 3-5 hrs

To make an all in one meal:
throw in whatever veggies you have on hand. This week I had some left over peppers, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans and carrots so I threw those in there along with some red potatoes.

Yummy Herb infused Olive oil marinade

Made a great marinade over the weekend.

Rosemary
crushed garlic
sun dried tomatos
pinch of salt and ground pepper

Pour olive oil in container, throw in some cut up sun dried tomatos, the rest of the ingredients and mash spices with a fork in the oil to release the flavor.

Let sit about 30 minutes, then dredge your meat in it to coat both sides and let set for about 15 minutes.

Use the oil from the marinade in your pan to saute it in...

OMG yummy!

Divide into six soup bowls.

84 calories per serving
5 grams protien
19 grams carbs
.1 gram fat
6 grams fiber

******* Note - this recipe does not double well. I made it over the weekend and it wasn't that great. Had to add a packet of taco seasoning and packet of dried ranch dressing to get it to taste better. Also added Morning star Crumbles and a can of corn. Once i did that it was much better!

Turkey Supreme

1 lb. ground turkey 93/7%
5 oz fresh cut spinach
1.5 cups fresh cut mushrooms
1 cloves crushed garlic
1 small yellow or white onion
1/2 cup white wine
salt to taste

Brown the turkey with onion and garlic then add mushrooms and wine. Let saute down until the mushrooms are the consistency you like and then at the end toss in the spinach till wilted.

This is a very yummy low cal dish and makes for a great filler in the morning if you want to toss egg whites into it and scramble for breakfast.

It's about 180 calories per 1.5 cups 10 grams of fat and low sodium.
