I got a lot more exercise than I realized on the cruise. Big ship=many steps and stairs. Today I got to shovel heavy wet snow (ugh) and a lot of indoor walking with Leslie Sansone.

Just got back from vacation so rejoining the "walking" world. I actually did quite a bit while on vacation, but didn't count it. It was a cruise and I didn't gain a pound and I ate, and relaxed but I was active. Rarely took an elevator and used the stairs. Apparently it was good exercise.

DH has mapped out 3.5 & 5 mile walks on the beach, for us. The doggy needs her exercise, too. It's great & it's wearing us all out. But, it's a good kinda pooped. LOL emoticon

emoticon I spent 3 and 1/2 hours cleaning out 3 horse stalls.
I put it in the fitness tracker as Farm Work: general and it said that I burned 1404 calories. I find that hard to believe because I have only had 1034 calories so far today and It's late now.

Stripping layers of wallpaper from the bedroom that will be the nursery for my daughter's son. She and her husband bought a house that was built in the 1920's and the previous owners layed down layer on top of layer of wallpaper. My daughter wants to paint the room and decorate so the wallpaper has to come off. I haven't removed wallpaper since I was a child and helping my parents. My husband never did it so I tried to recall....I knew warm water, scrapers, time and soaked walls was part of the formula. Thank heavens for youtube. We found some videos and are working hard. My body is sore from the exercise but it feels good to do and the work is satisfying. A great way to workout!

walking today and yesterday and the day before...about 4 miles each time. It's been glorious weatherwise but tomorrow it is going to change. Probably won't be going out tomorrow.

walking very fast in the raiin around the campus of Umass Amherst. Concert today and on the other side of the campus, my son's dorm. He is starting to pack up to come home for summer recess. YAY! Lots of work carrying the boxes to the car and into the house. My son is stillon campus so the movers were my DH and me.

yard work and gardening the past 3 days. Helping my daughter with spring cleaning as well as clearing rocks from my garden. I think a chipmunk put the rocks there. Seriously.
