I wasn't very impressed with the taste (big shock). Amy's has several lighter canned vegetable soups that are 2-3 pts for the whole can and taste a thousand times better too.

I loved the Progresso 0 Point Soups when I was still a meat eater. Sad to know that only one of them is veggie friendly. But that's my favorite one. I actually doctor them up a little. Some spices, sometimes more veggies, peas, corn, etc.

Can't say I'm too shocked. How's the sodium in the one veg. one? I pretty much avoid canned soups these days due to the crazy sodium content - ends up tasting like a salt lick to me.

BTW - I had to chuckle in the grocery line yesterday afternoon. I bought fresh veggies and fruits, whole wheat flour and a carton of Newman's lemonade and got a $1 coupon for chicken stock... just goes to show those coupons aren't really based on what you buy. haha

I am currently eating the italian vegetable progresso 0 point soup and its way rocking (tastey wise) and pretttty filling. So even though it's just one, its worth keeping on the shelf.

my goal is to maintain a healthier, leaner, lifestyle without breaking my knee at the age of 25.

Oh, that darn stock!

Moosewood Low Fat Favorites has a zero-point soup recipe that's quite good and flexible. I make it in big batches and freeze for convenience. It's not called zero-point soup, just zero soup, I think.

I was quite excited to hear about the new Progresso 0-point soups - veggie and low cal. BUT, alas, only one is actually vegetarian and all the others have chicken or beef stock. WHY???
