I love Dixie Diners Ground Beef Not, use it in all my standard recipes like lasagna, spagetti, etc..I can't eat anything with gluten so meat subs are few and far between. I also liked one of their soy puddings, but they discontinued the brand. Last I checked, their bacon not sprinkles were history too...I liked those too.
Also tried the tofu cheesecake. OMG it was horrible! Some weird undertaste that I just couldnt deal with, so it was 1 bite and tossed. One of Chicken fillet (not) that I tried was awful. I guess the trick is not using the products as a whole meal..just to replace an ingredient.

I tend not to buy "food products." I cook from scratch: brown rice and other grains, beans, vegetables.

I do use canned beans, tomatoes and broth, and frozen vegetables.

good to know, thanx. I bought a few of their products while I was down in the states, haven't tried them yet, but I am going to try them first before ordering stuff online.

I hope they end up being better than you stated... I hope at least that all their products aren't bad..

what's your fave vegan food products?

A review...I became really excited when I found Dixie Diner. I order two items and couldn't eat either one. The texture reminded me of chopped up cellulose sponges!

I'm sorry -- I know there are many people who really like them -- but I did want to post a minority report.
