I love this idea. I have found that when we go to BBQs if we take things like veggie kabobs to grill so that I have so thing to eat (only vegan in group) we always have to make extra. If I don't they will disappear before it can eat. Most people will eat veggies like these if we make the available

Well, my take is that many aren't ready to jump all in at first. So, I like to welcome all, including those who are still in the investigation stage, or those who will never commit to all all veg diet but are eating less meat.
It's not about labels but about making the best choices for yourself - for some the environment is the top reason for plant based eating, for others it's health. And as you know animal welfare is a main reason for change, yet, realistically (and yes, to our chagrin), this just doesn't work for all. But I will gladly support anyone who would like to eat less meat on any scale.
Who knows, maybe those currently just going meatless on Monday are tomorrow's full on vegans.
EDIT: Plus, holidays are a great time to make vegetarian versions of traditionally meat based dishes that may get newcomers to give it a whirl!
