A good protein source I have recently discovered is a product called "Field Roast". I shop at a co-op that has lots of vegan/vegetarian products and they carry it. It is a meat substitute (I don't think it is soy) that I really like - and I don't like many meat substitutes. It is very high in protein. I like the celebration roast...... and I just bought the "meatloaf" to try next along with a "Sausage". Do you mind my asking why you want to eat so low in carbs? Eating the right kind of carbs from vegetables and whole grains you can still lose weight and be healthy.
