THis is great. It's difficult to find ideas when you eat mostly vegan plus i have no blender . Tofu, gluten powder are practically nowhere to find on that beautiful island, so i tried home made tofu last week , it turned out to be tasty. I'm gonna try whiped coconut cream, but first i'l have to buy proper tools to do so Lots of recipes have edamame, tempeh, veganaise, and vegan sausages, things i can't find here.

FOr example,(sorry i have to share, because this is really fun to do) We eat the same at lunch and in the evening
TOmorrow is not a meal from the meal planner bitter salad salad dressing that taste a bit like roquefort (it's a french cheese) (In fact it's the bitterness of the salad combined with this salad dressing that makes it taste like roquefort) ,Rice, kidney beans patties ,lemon cake
rice with chinese cabbage, olive and polish tomatoes . thursday: home made tortillas with spicy lentils in tomatoe sauce
Even though I am sure I will not be able to adhere to a strictly vegetarian/vegan diet, I signed up for the 21-Day Kickstart Program. It is my way of including more vegetarian meals into my menu plan, and provides me with the incentive to try different recipes and cooking techniques.

For those who don't know, the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine does this thing where for 21 days they send out daily e-mails and information, give you access to their site and meal plans and such, and it basically helps you get healthier or vegan. If anything, if you're trying to become vegetarian its a helpful start at the least.
I tried this once before a year ago and it helped me out (I stopped the vegan thing because i had no paycheck for months and had to subsist on dad's junk food and meat--which didn't help me). Its great for ideas and quick stuff, and ways to implement more fresh foods in your diet. There're lots of resources at the site--check it out and sign up by January 3rd if you want to!
