you can do it KClayton! If you're bored and want chocolate, try doing a few crunches or lunges and then see if you still want chocolate. And don't forget to drink lots of water! Oh yeah, and I'm finding mint gum to be a savior... if I'm feeling munchie I'll chew some mint gum and nothing seems desirable when you have a minty fresh mouth. Good luck!!

I was at 150.8 both yesterday and today. Woo Hoo. That is my lowest weight in about 15 years. And it only puts me .4 off of where I should be for this loose a pound a week challenge. NOW, the real challenge is trying not to screw it up this weekend so I can actually make that my "official" weigh-in weight on Monday. It may be a challenge. We are stuck inside in the D.C. blizzard and I'm craving chocolate. JUST SAY NO!

Yesterday was not so good. I did both of my 25 minute exercise routines. I was able to get my 5 minutes of abs and upper body in. That was the good part.

The not so good was the way I ate. I was so hungry in the middle of the night I ate two bowls of cereal. Today is a new day.

Sounds like a lot of us had a rough weigh in this week... but STAY POSITIVE! emoticon

It's Wed. and we should take a weekly check-in - how's your eating? how's your working out? how's everyone feeling?

Now's the time to pick it up if you've been slacking a bit emoticon or keep on rocking if you're off to a good start this week emoticon . It's not too late to have a 'good week', even if Monday or Tuesday didn't go so well.

Didn't weigh in last week and was late this week due to being so so sick with the cold/flu!!! Unfortunately that meant laying around alot and I am only down to 145... Gotta get myself back into the gym!

Well, crap. I weighed myself yesterday and was pretty disappointed. I was back up to my starting weight. =( I can't say I'm really surprised though 'cause I kinda slacked off on watching what I eat and I had a super busy weekend and wasn't able to exercise. I just gotta be super vigilant this week with what I eat and my workouts.

So 146.2 for me...

Congratulations to all who have lost this week. @BLM - I'm glad you decided not to drop out. We've got to stick with it even through the frustrating times. I'm finding this group very motivating especially now when I'm struggling so much.

I was still at 153.2 again this morning. That puts me up almost a pound (on my weekly average) from last week. That makes me really sad. I went to see a nutritionalist yesterday because I just can't figure out why I've all of a sudden stopped losing weight. She feels that maybe I'm still eating too much (that maybe I'm not judging my portions correctly), and she recommended eating more protein earlier in the day and eating less at night. With all of the diet advice out there, I just have no idea what is right. And, I'm not sure I can eat any less. Last night when I went to bed I was starving. I'm eating right at 1200 to 1300 calories, I am completely vegan, I eat mainly vegetables, fruit and beans. I eat a little whole grains every day. I only eat limited healthy fats (nuts, seeds, olive oil, and avocados). I exercise every day. Why am I still overweight? Ahhhh! The nutrionalist also felt that maybe it had something to do with having lost so much weight in such a short time (I've lost 71 pounds since last March). That maybe my body was just re-adjusting. Has anyone else experienced that? What did you do about it? I still need to loose another 25 pounds to be at a healthy weight.

I've reconsidered my drop-out and have decided I need to stick with it. ups and downs will come and i shouldn't drop out just because i gain a few pounds. overall I've lost 8 pounds since joining and i need to be happy about that. i've also developed a consistent workout routine and am in much better shape. sometimes I lose sight of the overall goal (to be HEALTHY) and focus too much on the number on the scale. So, my numbers for this week:

SW: 151.2
This week: 153

Down .5 pounds to 165.5. I lose weight very slowly but thanks to SP I am down 7 pounds for the year. I really think tracking what I eat has made a huge difference. That and having all of you as support. Thanks to all.

Just going to jump right in here....I've been trying to shake these 5 lbs I've gained since Thanksgiving.
I've gotten rid of 1pound but those last stubbourn 4lbs just won't budge.

Weighed in at 119lbs this morning. Also, will be tracking food,getting in all my runs and strength sessions big time this week. Hopefully I'll see some movement in the right direction this week.

I'm down .6, to 142. I find it amazing, since my boyfriend visited this weekend and we did nothing but eat and drink. So I have a feeling the weight might show up later.... I'll be really good this week and stick to my plan and hope to keep this unexpected loss down!

W3 disappointing 128.8 a gain of 2 lbs. But I think I have figured out what is causing it though. My mom passed away in June, and her ashes were returned to me just a couple of weeks ago. This weekend just missing her alot and wanting to talk to her. I think I will have a better week. The only thing that I am overeating on is those darn nuts. I put them into 1/3 cup servings, but I just keep going by and picking up another bag of them. I have them mixed with the oriental rice crackers, and I love those crackers. It's going to be a depressing day with the weight gain. Yesterday I weighed and I hadn't gained anything. So in my mind I guess I thought getting more last night would be okay. :(

I didn´t even weigh myself this morning... I´m going to try the ´zig zag´ diet thing and see if I can break out of my plateau (I want those 140's so bad, but my body is RESISTING!!). I think in the beginning I´m going to gain a few pounds since I´ll be eating a few more calories to ´rev-up' my metabolism again, but hopefully after a few weeks I'll start losing again. So, I think I'm dropping out of the challenge. emoticon

Still stuck and very depressed. SW 153.4, W2 153.2, Today (W3) 153.2. Boo Hoo! On a positive note, as noted in previous post, my weight was down several days last week, so I think I just blew it this weekend. I will get focused again today and try to do better. I'm not really liking the Monday weigh-in. I think my plateau may have to do with stress. I'm feeling very, very stressed lately. And, in all honesty, the Purely Decadent Cookie Dough ice cream last night probably did not help, but I'm attributing my ice cream weakness to stress too. :)
