Forgot to update for myself! lol

I did really well. I did make it through my CSA basket already, though. lol! I mostly had smoothies and green juices. When I go raw I always tend to want simple foods rather than anything prepared. :D

Bummed I came to this after the fact - it's mostly what I normally eat (although ironically I had a mostly cooked vegan weekend).

What an INSPIRATION SPLURGESISTERS!

As for the RAW VEGAN Challenge I did well, however I did suffer from headaches, but that was to be expected from lack of caffeine. I know I have to stop that. I found myself eating a lot more often. I managed to only lose 1 pound, but not bad for not working out.

My food intake: Fruit/salad smoothie for breakfast. Apple and Raw almond butter for a snack and a HUGE gourmet salad for lunch and RAW mock spaghetti for dinner. Nuts were taken in between too. Lots of water!

Hi, new to SP - but I have been raw vegan for almost 2 years now - if you need any recipes to help you along - please let me know. I lost 75 pounds on raw and have 50 to go - and remember, chocolate can be raw! emoticon

I'm having some friends over on Saturday night -they'll be served vegetarian food, if I serve them a whole diner of raw food during winter, chances are my "flesh-eating" friends hate me, and if they're too hungry I could be pushing up the raw daisies. emoticon

If it's okay for you that I skip the Saturday's night, I'm with you. Otherwise see you next weekend!

Hi DBailey76,

Still up for the VEGAN RAW CHALLENGE? Why wait for summer, take action now. I didn't specify in the Vegan Weekend Challenge if the food had cooked or Raw. So, I'm in for this weekend if you are. I have so many Raw Prep books that I could put to use. Look forward to hearing from you.

Yea, I live in WI on Lake Michigan. I totally understand about that! I'm mostly raw in the summer anyway, so I'll totally be down to do one with you then. :)

The vegetarians in the group having a vegan weekend challenge have motivated me to challenge myself to a raw weekend. One of my ultimate fitness goals is to become at least 80% raw. I've had raw stints in the past and think small challenges like this are a great tool for getting me to my goal. So, ty for the idea of the vegan challenge guys! :)

My greatest challenge is going to be no tea with soy milk. But, warm water with lemon juice is nice, too!

My greatest strength is going to be that I have plenty of veg for green smoothies!

So, anyone game?
