Ran/walked intervals for 60 minutes yesterday, a total for 4.5 miles. Slowly trying to build my running back up.

RAWCOOKE, before I had my garmin I used www.walkjogrun(.com? I can't remember) it's google earth that you draw your route on and it gives you figures for mileage and I think it gives a speed estimate in min/mile if that's any help?

I am trying to get back running as much as possible but I have had a difficult time of late, last big problem was the worst tummy bug I have ever had, took me a good couple of weeks to get over. Martial arts tonight and then I'll hopefully get a run in tomorrow.

I've found out the formula for working out mph: (distance divided by time) multiplied by 60 = mph. Useful when you only have a pedometer and a clock. :D

I've been on and off lately with cold weather, tiredness and fighting off a virus - went out today and managed a 10min jog, then called it a day - it was a lot better than nothing - and I'm on my way to being able to run for 35 mins non-stop.

I started my morning with a four miler. I knew I had to get out early or my motivation would wane. It was cold and rainy (about 35 deg). Not my favorite weather but I sure felt good when I was finished. Looking forward to another good one tomorrow.

Ran 4.5 miles last night, it was Guy Fawkes night so lots of fireworks, I wore a baseball cap though which made it hard to see them all. Looking forward to Thursday/Fridays run after a few weeks of feeling slow.

Feeling slow lately. Since I tried to make an effort to increase my speed i seem to have slowed down! I don't feel so good, just a bit flat so maybe when this passes I'll be back to normal. I ran for 30 mins yesterday but did less than 3 miles, (I normally get at least 3 and a half)

I'm likely to miss my run today, I broke a tooth and I always feel unwell after getting dental work done. I will still try if I feel ok though, might help shake this flat feeling!

Had a rest after half marathon and planned a run for Thursday but had so much on I just couldn't fit it in. Finally got to run this afternoon, a nice 8.5 mile at a leisurely 10 min mile with beautiful scenery. I got to test my hydration pack too, wish I'd bought one sooner makes things much easier without carrying water bottle and phone. Looking forward to Mondays run now...

I ran 6km yesterday in the same time it normally takes me to run just 5k. Best run I've ever had.

I ran the Cardiff Half Marathon yesterday in 2 hours 8 mins 35 secs. I beat my last time (when I was 8 years younger) by 9 mins and I had a baby 6 months ago! I'm really pleased with myself and looking forward to entering another race. Blog coming soon :-)

I ran 3.4 miles this evening. I'm not a fair weather runner but I dodged the weather earlier, rivers have doubled in heights, drains are backing up, it's really not nice out there. Not really sure if I went for a run/swim! Still felt good though and left the days stresses behind, last run before Sundays Half Marathon.
